The PE is responsible for overseeing the engineering of these systems for major capital projects and initiatives from conceptualization through programming, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, and close out. Requirements * Build prototype circuitry under the guidance of engineers. * Assist in testing and debugging to the component level. * Help write test procedures and document engineering evaluations on products, specifications, and requirements. * Support resolution of design problems on production hardware. * Document schematics using schematic capture software. * Contribute to programs for microprocessors, components, or automated test systems. * Draft test reports that demonstrate product performance. * Participate in team discussions about product development and production support needs. Qualifications and Education Requirements: * Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering program. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications. * Knowledge of drafting tools, schematic capture software, and power supply circuitry. * Effective oral and written communication skills in English. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to take initiative and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills and Abilities: * Previous internship, project, or coursework experience in power supply design, digital design, or embedded systems. * Familiarity with engineering lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment. * Exposure to programming languages such as C or C++. * Self-motivated with curiosity and desire to learn new technologies. Full-time schedules for Summer internships. (40 hour week) Approx. Start Date End of May/Beg of June. This is a paid Internship. Internship salary is based on position and academic year standing.
