As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of lighting and power systems for various building types. The ideal candidate will have 6 - 10 years of experience in electrical building design, a strong foundation in mechanical system basics, and the desire to take on a more significant role in shaping mechanical system designs. Responsibilities: Design and develop lighting and power systems for diverse building types. Demonstrate expertise in mechanical system basics. Contribute to the development of mechanical system designs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Required Qualifications: PE License or willingness to obtain PE. Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a concentration in electrical design). 6 - 10 years of relevant professional experience in electrical building design. Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is preferred. The Computer-Aided Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and consolidating existing SOLV cad standards. This will require input from multiple departments. Standards will include how .dwg files are stored and referenced, how sheets are printed, process mapping, file location, block creation, and other items necessary to ensure all SOLV engineering departments can easily reference the same master set of drawings.
