This field based position serves customers across Albuquerque and the Four Corners region, including New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. The Responsibilities We are seeking a qualified individual who has experience installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying electromechanical equipment, preferably in the field. Troubleshoot technical problems and systems issues. Determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. This position will also require the individual to assess Customer needs and recommends solutions in accordance with product specifications and Customer Specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives as needed. Act as local on-site representative to customer's organization. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing tests on electrical systems, harnesses, and embedded electronics used in spacecraft and space science instruments. On any given day the selected candidate may be asked to perform the following: Work within the systems test team to refine System/Subsystem requirement verification statements and verification cross-reference matrices to ensure the requirements are testable. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for spaceflight hardware, ensuring all electrical components and systems meet functional and performance specifications. Utilize test equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters to validate design and functionality. Conduct detailed timing analysis and signal integrity checks on high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, LVDS, SpaceWire), ensuring accurate communication between subsystems.     Genuen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer on the Electronics Systems Engineering team contributing to all aspects of electronic systems development. This is a full-time, direct hire position. Responsibilities The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for hardware design and development of products, systems, tests, and automated test equipment through field installation as an engineer and as a project team leader. The following are essential functions and related tasks: Project Lead and primary technical contact for the client, and leader of a multi-discipline project team. Preparation and installation of test solutions in accordance with project specifications and standards. Engage in client project initiatives involving the development and delivery of turn-key hardware and software deliverables. Complete tasks within initial estimated time frames or communicate revised timelines to complete projects with required justifications. Provide advice on project costs, design concepts and design changes. Ensure projects use appropriate hardware architectures, breaking down to task level components and delegation of tasks to team members. Exhibit strong familiarity with custom circuit design, troubleshooting, and analysis skills including the use of simulation tools (such as P-Spice) and the use of lab equipment. Prepare deliverables such as design documents, schematics, and review documents. Ensure that appropriate metrics and performance goals are in place to measure progress. Identify an IP address is created for projects, suitable for company reuse libraries and/or future product development. Other duties and responsibilities as appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics, or electrical engineering is required. 10+ years of electronics engineering experience, including large system development. 5+ years leading projects and electronic hardware design and implementation. Experience cultivating and growing key relationships, both internal and external. Proficiency in the operation of standard laboratory test equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, digital multimeter, spectrum analyzer). Extensive understanding of electronics, including data acquisition, signal measurement, schematics, troubleshooting, and circuit design. Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, VHDL or LabVIEW. Experience with NI hardware and tools a plus. PCB design experience a plus. Quickly adaptable to learning new technologies. Successful history of owning and executing task responsibility. Excellent technical communication skills both verbally and written. Occasional travel, as needed. United States citizenship is required. Active DOE or DoD security clearance is required.
