Under the supervision of a more experienced Engineer, a Co-Op student will be exposed to: · Perform electrical design of lighting, power distribution and communication systems including fire alarm systems. · Collaborate with mechanical and electrical Drafter/Designers on the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) · Apply engineering calculations across multiple projects · Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and circuits · Research commercially available equipment and select equipment appropriate for project/client needs. · Solve complex problems during both design and construction phases of MEP projects · Provide excellent communication to all stakeholders Perform field inspections to verify existing site conditions.
