Implement new engineering strategies and technologies to replace facilities equipment and systems at their end of life (EOL) Lead meetings and negotiate with customers and contractors of all levels and capabilities. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (in Mechanical, Controls or Electrical) or equivalent related controls experience Minimum Experience 2+ years of relevant working experience in a Controls/Project Management/Facilities Capacity preferred 2+ years working experience with control systems architecture and programming preferred Other Job-Specific Skills Use knowledge and experience to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of tasks within area of expertise Actively support / participate in project team activities related to significant business innovation; develop and execute activities/tasks to achieve the objectives of the business team Demonstrate solid base of technical knowledge in day-to-day operations Working Conditions Willingness to travel for department reviews and business planning events at other HDMA facilities 50% Manufacturing/Production Environment including construction site locations, 50% office/desk environment § Potential for assignments supporting other HDMA Facilities, Honda Affiliates, or North American Suppliers Work all appropriate overtime/weekends/shutdowns to manage projects and cover production needs.
