The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Python, Solidity, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with smart contract frameworks and tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, OpenZeppelin, Mythril, and Ganache.
Strong background in quantitative modeling, data science, or financial engineering, with experience applying models to trading or risk systems.

The Team
Fidelity Digital Asset Management [FDAM] is building an investment platform offering digital asset products and services designed to meet the growing needs of Fidelity's retail customers and intermediary and institutional clients. The Data Science team is a highly collaborative group leading technical projects across the FDAM organization to enable effective management of investment products and services. Project examples include integration of vendor infrastructure, constructing models or tools, building automation across technologies, and portfolio or business analytics. The base salary range for this position is $140,000-285,000 USD per year.

The ElectricalEngineering group develops design solutions for NYPA's electrical assets and systems in generating plants, substations, and transmission networks.
In addition, the ElectricalEngineering group provides the following services:
• Performing power flow analysis of power plant electrical systems to determine performance during normal, emergency, and motor starting conditions.
• Simulating and analyzing abnormal system disturbances to identify influential system parameters and root causes.
• Analyzing failures of major electrical equipment, such as transformers, large motors, and circuit breakers, to develop corrective action plans.
• Conducting diagnostic evaluations of equipment performance.
• Supporting the Electrical Safety Program through arc flash analyses, grounding studies, and minimum approach distance (MAD) calculations.
• Conducting technical evaluations of procurement and vendor bids.
• Witnessing factory acceptance testing, start-up testing, and field testing of major electrical equipment.
• Assisting in obtaining emergency spare equipment.
Our paid 10-week Summer Developmental Internship program runs from June 2 - August 7, 2026. About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate ElectricalEngineer with specialized expertise in power systems analysis and electrical modeling. This role focuses on conducting Short Circuit Coordination Studies and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis using SKM Power Tools, while also leading efforts in buried conductor thermal modeling using tools such as Ampcalc, Cymcap, and our proprietary software THRUX.
The Associate ElectricalEngineer is expected to positively contribute to the office environment, sharing gained knowledge with staff members and act as both an educator and a mentor to other engineers to increase firmwide use and proficiency of SKM power tools software suite.
Responsibilities
Perform power system studies including short circuit analysis, coordination studies, and arc flash analysis.
Collaborate with project designers to modify electrical systems to meet client goals for coordination and arc flash mitigation.
Conduct on-site surveys to evaluate and document existing electrical one-line diagrams.
Review shop drawings and perform site visits to verify overcurrent device sizing and settings implementation.
Lead the development and administration of an office-wide training program for SKM and related electrical modeling software.
Prioritize tasks effectively and meet project deadlines, including document issuance and coordination.
Communicate proactively with internal and external project stakeholders regarding deadlines, issues, and deliverables.
Utilize and contribute to internal checklists and design guidelines to maintain firmwide standards.
Attend project meetings independently or with senior staff to understand project requirements.
Anticipate and address project issues in collaboration with senior engineers and partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in ElectricalEngineering or Electrical Technology.
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in electrical design and power systems analysis.
Proficiency in SKM Power Tools, with demonstrated ability to perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in design software tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
