Responsibilities
Installation of wiring, breakers, light packages, conduit, outlets, switchgear, high and medium voltage transformers, transfer switches, pipe bending, etc.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary fixes.
Follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions.
Verify work complies with applicable national and local electrical codes.
Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work area and tools.
Various other duties as required, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Current State of Florida Certified Electrician / Electrical Contractor license.
5+ years of experience as an electrician with industrial or manufacturing exposure.
Advanced knowledge of NEC and local codes.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience mentoring junior electricians.
Must pass drug test.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Possess appropriate tools to perform job duties.
Physical Requirements
May frequently lift or move heavy weight material and work in difficult positions.
Frequent mental and visual attention on an intermittent basis.
Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push and pull, work at heights, and in small tight spaces.
