As an Industrial Electrician, you will: * Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment to ensure optimal performance. * Investigate and resolve electrical, mechanical, or operational issues using advanced problem-solving methods. * Install and wire motors, switch panels, fuse boxes, and power circuits for operational efficiency. * Create and update detailed layouts of electrical circuits and components. * Apply expertise in PLC programming and work with Allen Bradley systems, including VFDs and 4-20 mA circuits. * Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and increase workplace safety. Knowledge Skills & Abilities: * Must be a journeyman industrial electrician. * Able to use, read and understand Amp Meter, Digital Multi-Meters and Oscilloscope * Must have technical knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC's and components * Able to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematic drawings. * Must have a thorough knowledge of industrial wiring, motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting, testing and power circuits. * Must have a thorough knowledge of electrical gauges, recording instruments, electronic sensing units and other related equipment. * Must have knowledge of state and local electrical codes. * Must have knowledge of PLC's and related programming. * Familiar with Allen Bradley systems, VFD's, PLC''s hardware and software. * Basic computer skills. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with management and other line personnel. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
