The Electrical Apprentice is responsible for assisting Journeyman Electrician in service and repair of components of fuel dispensing systems, commercial electric installations, and other related systems as directed by Electrical Department Manager. Consistently demonstrates proficiency in all essential duties Primary Duties: Reads and interprets schematic diagrams, product specifications, and installation and start-up procedures. Selects materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs. Operates tools and equipment safely to accomplish the assigned task. Owns and maintains tools required for position. Completes assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistent with guidelines. Maintains a clean work area. Organizes/ stores tools and material to minimize damage to materials and risk of injury.
