We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing/bottling facility to maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling and packaging operations.
Factory Location: Greenwood, IN
Compensation: $34.90/hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: Monday - Friday
7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am- 4:00pm

Responsibilities:
Skills Required:
Execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to PM schedule to minimize equipment downtime
Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components
Complete machine tear down/repair and assembly and work on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motors
Conduct creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvements
Communicate, coach and train employees to continuously improve team's ability to prevent loss of production and respond safely to equipment failures
Work with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met
Communicate directly with equipment suppliers, contractors, and vendors as necessary
Operate a forklift as needed to complete duties
Qualifications:

Base Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Safely troubleshoot, change, install and commission all components of instrument control and electrical systems
* Troubleshoot, analyze and repair components of these systems: motors, MCC's, VFD's, transformers, switch gears, lighting, relays, Programmable Logic Controllers,(Allen Bradley preferred), overhead crane controls, distribution system wiring and running conduit, instrumentation, control valves, DCS Systems, controllers, HMI's, UPS Systems, and similar equipment
* Works on highly technical or involved projects, dealing with complex factors, and making decisions based on conclusions and findings
* Uses different welding equipment (arc, acetylene, brazing, and flame cutting) for lay out and fitting, including making jigs and fixtures
* Uses electricians' hand tools and measuring/testing equipment
* Diagnoses and corrects trouble in the electrical system or equipment, applying standard computations related to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment
* Performs visual and mechanical inspections to maintain machinery in good condition ensuring the production of finished quality products to order specifications
* Follows the preventive maintenance program established by the company and conducts equipment inspections, taking preventative action when necessary
* Performs minor and major repairs on buildings
* Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment

Participate in the design, development, procurement, and launch of automation and automated equipment.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives for equipment controls, including modifications, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Support production operations by performing maintenance and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including 3-axis CNC mills, conveyors, automation equipment, and robots.
Apply effective troubleshooting techniques to analyze and resolve plant equipment issues.
Work from mechanical/electrical drawings, equipment specifications, and schematics to complete tasks.
Research and source parts as needed for repairs and upgrades.
Perform preventive, predictive, and routine inspection maintenance in accordance with work orders.
Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, quality documents, blueprints, and electrical prints.
Complete charts, logs, and documentation to communicate status and findings to the team.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
Required Skills & Knowledge

Education & Experience Requirements
Must Have:
Associate or Bachelors degree in Automated Manufacturing, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering Technology, or equivalent work experience in these fields.
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing process controls.
Working knowledge of hardware and operating computer systems.
Expertise in Allen Bradley and/or Fanuc controls.
