Monitors chlorine residual within the water system. Performs accuracy tests on multiple Analyzers, Transducers, and Laboratory Test Kits on a monthly basis. Performs operational checks and maintains all pump/storage facilities within the guidelines of TCEQ, City and departmental rules and regulations. Climbs and inspects water storage tanks when required. Records weight, regulates, and changes chlorine bottles when required. Performs chlorinator, pump, and motor maintenance and repair. Responds to customer service complaints. Performs bacteriological water sampling (upon licensing, when required). Repair and maintain control valves, check-valves, and air releases. Troubleshoots minor electrical problems when required. Perform minor repairs to electrical controls, chart machines, timers, phase protectors, and SCADA components when required. Operate and maintain vehicles. Responds to emergency calls periodically (on-call 24 hours for 7 days). Performs other essential duties as required to achieve successful operations of the department. POSITION SUMMARY: The Instrumentation & Electronic Technician(s) is responsible for the efficient, safe, and reliable operating condition of the site manufacturing control and electrical systems. The Technician must be multi-skilled to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot site's electrical power systems, instrumentation, motor controls, PLC, HMI, data systems, and factory control infrastructure (servers, PC's, and networks). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide support during machine installations and upgrades including: interfacing auxiliary equipment, identifying and correcting errors in programming and wiring and ensuring vendors and contractors are meeting our needs and expectations Maintains and repairs electronic instrumentation and equipment to provide reliable, well maintained equipment to ensure service quality Physically setting up and maintaining electronics, instruments, automation, and measurement equipment Troubleshooting all electronic and data acquisition equipment; Adjust, repair or replace faulty components Calibrating pressure gauges and meter measurement equipment May perform programming and troubleshooting operations on computers and terminal data acquisition equipment Troubleshoot and program automated facility control equipment, calibrate required safety devices, manipulate facility valves to receive the desired operating status Troubleshoot, diagnose problems and repair plant mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical systems Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, drawings, manuals, blueprints and engineering sketches Perform layout and wiring of electrical panels Identify and recommend changes to improve plant performance utilizing existing or new control systems; make program modifications in PLC's logic, HMI's programs and servo controller logic to improve equipment performance Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop) Performs field calibrations using multi-meters to test pH, conductivity, flow, pressure, humidity, RTD, thermocouple, and other levels as needed Ability to work in a team environment, record data in a computer system, communicate with multiple departments, and complete work orders and preventative maintenance on equipment indoors and outdoors Performs quality checks according to procedure and repairs equipment in a timely manner Responsible to maintain proper records. This position will report to the Taylor ASU Facility Superintendent and will work with regional Reliability Team to achieve reliability goals. Purpose: This role will provide technical execution of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks on relevant instrumentation, controls, analytical, electrical and mechanical systems for ASU's, hydrogen electrolyzers, backup systems, purifier buildings and associated equipment to continuously supply quality product safely, complying with all environmental regulations and daily customer requirements. This role will operate bulk gas plants, electrolyzers and purifiers as needed. Key Responsibilities: Understand and adhere to company safety work policies and operating practices. Report safety incidents and near misses. Startup, operate, and maintain air separation and bulk gas delivery systems, including associated tanks, purifiers, controls, and fill/offload systems. Troubleshoot shutdowns and perform corrective maintenance to allow equipment/plant restarts. Coordinate scheduling of planned maintenance and perform some preventative maintenance on system components. Operate units to continuously supply products at the appropriate quantities and qualities safely and economically, complying with all environmental regulations and daily customer requirements. Monitor process performance and makes appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align to the specified norm. Analytical maintenance and troubleshooting of process analyzers, including GC's. Calibration and proper documentation for QA analyzers Maintain cylinder inventory and replace cylinders on analytical equipment. Generate energy control plans, perform lock-out tag-out, correctly and safely permit maintenance work, and oversee contractors as necessary. Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, and valves.     Job Description The Technician is a heavy equipment mechanic that specializes in maintaining and repairing cranes. This position may perform routine maintenance, like lubricating parts, as well as fixing other problems when the crane malfunction. The Technician position work in a safety-first type of environment. HCSG is a 24/7 service company that requires technicians to be available on-call and provide after hour or even weekend services as required due to customer needs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Must be able to be on-call and provide after hour services as required. Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations. Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders. Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager during the day so that work can be scheduled and completed on a daily basis. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify immediate supervisor of any deficiencies. Maintain the ability to work with others in team environment. Attend company provided trainings and seminars as required. Participate in HCSG 5 Marks program Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS The work is labor intensive. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis. This position requires 90% of frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, overhead reaching, bending, squatting and prolonged standing and sitting. It requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The position also involves great hand and eye coordination. Heights exceeding over 50 feet from time to time are normal to incur on a daily basis to maintain a crane. Employee will be required to travel from time to time (20 50%) and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers. This includes on-call and overtime. Travel out of town may be required at the discretion of the company. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is normally performed inside or outside (pending customer requirements) with varying degrees of extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on the weather. During summer months, temperatures can exceed 120 degrees. This position will be frequently exposed to noise, heights, fumes, dust, and odors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record Must always commit to working and driving safely Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights Must have basic computer skills Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Vocational/Technical training certificate Some electrical and mechanical knowledge Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background (DISA) and submit to random and annual drug testing as required.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Works Under the general supervision of the SCADA Supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in recording all pertinent data required by State, City, and department. Monitors and records data from SCADA system. Monitors chlorine residual within the water system. Performs accuracy tests on multiple Analyzers, Transducers, and Laboratory Test Kits on a monthly basis. Performs operational checks and maintains all pump/storage facilities within the guidelines of TCEQ, City and departmental rules and regulations. Climbs and inspects water storage tanks when required. Records weight, regulates, and changes chlorine bottles when required. Performs chlorinator, pump, and motor maintenance and repair. Responds to customer service complaints. Performs bacteriological water sampling (upon licensing, when required). Repair and maintain control valves, check-valves, and air releases. Troubleshoots minor electrical problems when required. Perform minor repairs to electrical controls, chart machines, timers, phase protectors, and SCADA components when required. Operate and maintain vehicles. Responds to emergency calls periodically (on-call 24 hours for 7 days). Performs other essential duties as required to achieve successful operations of the department. Subject to be called to assist an employee on standby duty. Contribute to team effort by performing other related duties as assigned. Regular and timely attendance is an essential job function.
