The Technician will perform a variety of technical, chemical, and photolithography duties with the development, processing, and control of semi-conductor material and devices.
What You'll Get to Do:
Run fabrication equipment for processing semiconductor materials and devices under the guidance of process documentation which includes the set-up and operation of a variety of standard and special solid-state processing equipment. This includes performing various chemical, physical, photographic, and packaging processes such as deposition, evaporations, and etching of materials, metals plating, wafer dicing /thinning, and making/requesting adjustments based upon the knowledge of process and procedures, and monitoring equipment when applicable.
Examine processes such as resist/develop processing, photo exposure, metallization, and etching to determine the quality of the process to locate defects. Determine and discuss with the engineer possible improvements in process or equipment to remedy defects.
Interpret SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts to react to out-of-control conditions to maintain process control. Prepare reports or parts of reports following established patterns. Covering assignments such as preparing masks, operating photographic equipment, and developing photographic requirements.
Placing lots on hold, based on engineering guidance, disposition lots, and document in MES. Performing tasks such as running split lots for engineering and ensuring special processing is consistent and on time. Performing gage R&R (Repeatable & Reproducibility) studies for metrology equipment.
Will train on 1st shift and transition to second shift when training is complete.
When on the 2nd shift there is receive a shift premium of 10%.
Flexibility to work 1st shift as needed.
Must have the ability to lift, hold, move, and manipulate the wafers in a FOUP (Front Opening Unified Pod) to 25 pounds and with a wand as applicable.
******Note: This is a 2nd shift role, with training on 1st shift******
Basic Qualifications for Microelectronic Technician 2:
High school graduate or recognized equivalent.
Associate degree or two years (minimum 60 semester hours) of college-level study with a major in physical science or equivalent; or 2 years of relevant experience.
2 years prior manufacturing experience or 1 year of semiconductor (cleanroom) manufacturing experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
U.S. citizenship Required
Preferred Qualifications Microelectronic Technician 2:
Experience running semiconductor process equipment and metrology equipment.
Experience in data collection and interpretation.

Operates computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system to dispatch public safety units to calls; monitors activities and location of public safety units to ensure situations are under control; provides immediate backup when needed and notifies appropriate supervisors.
Operates teletype computer equipment to enter, retrieve, and transmit information regarding outstanding warrants, vehicle registrations, driver licenses, criminal histories, etc.; maintains appropriate logs and files in accordance with requirements of the Florida Crime Information Commission (NCIC and FCIC) and departmental procedures.
Interacts in a professional manner via radio or telephone with the public and fellow employees and other public safety agencies.
Responsible for being knowledgeable of all material contained within the Communications Center Standard Operating Guide, has a working knowledge of departmental rules/regulations and city rules/regulations.
Maintains various files and logs to document information pertaining to public safety and established standards.
Conducts tours and assists with public education presentations at events when needed.
Performs general clerical work as required, including typing reports and records, entering and retrieving computer data, copying and filing documents, and faxing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of emergency medical dispatch (EMD) and successfully pass the certification test within six months of starting position.

Electron Microscopy - Under general supervision, perform routine and advanced transmission electron microscope laboratory procedures related to the processing of specimens used for clinical purposes. Prepare specimens for observation under an electron microscope using specialized techniques. Maintain diamond knives, and cut and trim tissue to microscope dimension using an ultramicrotome. Perform specialized photographic techniques to capture and produce digital images. Manage the digital archives of images and make images available electronically to users.

Specialized Techniques - Perform processing and specialized techniques on muscle, nerve, and medical kidney specimens. Perform staining, IHC & Immunofluorescence, on these specimens. Maintenance - Maintain electron microscopes including basic troubleshooting. Maintain ancillary equipment including ultramicrotome, cryostat, fume hood, and digital camera. Assist manager with inventory control of chemicals and other supplies needed for diagnostic electron microscopy as well as immunofluorescence and immunochemistry techniques. Cleans laboratory equipment and spaces. This may include bench-tops, and storage areas.
Records and Safety - Maintain records and files of specimens prepared and photographed. Perform laboratory safety procedures and ensures compliance of quality control standards. Assists with administrative tasks as needed such as computer assistance with manuals, MSDS and chemical inventory. Oversees inventory of the lab and place all orders as needed. Keeps chemical and biohazard elements properly maintained stored and disposed of.

Hospice of Marion County, a part of Empath Health is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Equipment Tech I to join our DME team in Ocala, FL. In this role, the DME Technician is responsible for the delivery and set-up/assembly of medical equipment and supplies and also for the pick-up/disassembly of the equipment when it is no longer needed. This position will provide education to patients and caregivers on the proper, safe use of the equipment. In addition, the DME Technician will work within the DME warehouse cleaning and moving DME items.
What you'll Do
Deliver and set up equipment. In addition, will instruct patient/caregiver on basic use and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe use and care in patient setting
Communicate with patients and families in a clear and respectful manner, providing exceptional customer service.

Required to safely handle soiled linen, equipment, and trash in accordance with Empath Policy.
