The environment will be similar to a fast-paced restaurant/workshop while allowing you to plunge into a cutting-edge technological environment working directly with our autonomous robots. Our Robot Technicians will execute robot fleet repair throughout the shift, troubleshoot unexpected situations that may arise, and work effectively to keep our robots in operation.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical Tasks:
Maintaining the health of our global fleet of robots through daily maintenance and repair tasks. Which can include but is not limited to - diagnosing unforeseen problems, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and repairing or replacing faulty equipment (tires, electronics, motors).
Carrying out preventive maintenance activities and upgrades on robots and infrastructure. Monitoring and servicing our internal systems, running tests and completing reports, and completing updates or improvements to existing systems as appropriate.
Perform root cause analysis to identify the causes of faults or problems and systematically develop a solution to prevent/solve underlying issues.
Operational Tasks:
Accurately document all tasks/partner or internal messaging related to service concerns or robot-related issues using appropriate applications/tools.
Maintain a clean and organized hub by performing accurate spare parts inventory audits twice a week and ensuring all tools are accounted for and returned to their proper location after use.
Work with our engineering team to identify any potential improvements regarding robot health and design.
Assist our Operational Team and vendors/merchants by providing in-person assistance through performing weekly Merchant Preflights to understand any service-related issues, provide operational and troubleshooting assistance related to Starship-provided devices, and act as a Starship brand representative while interacting with clients.
Occasionally support our Operational Service team by assisting with Robot field rescues or operational services tasks when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
A passion for robots and innovative technologies.
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or another related STEM field.
Previous experience in Technical Support and with any service desk application is beneficial, but not required.
Good knowledge regarding mechanics, electronics, and IT.
Excellent client-facing skills.
Self-starter; takes initiative, can work without supervision and begin projects independently.
Experience & Education Requirements:
Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, CLI tools, and scripting preferred, but not required.
Hobby projects in electronics or mechanics.
Previous experience in managing a large fleet of devices.
Physical Requirements:
Movement ability to frequent usage of wrists, hands and finger dexterity to movements such as constant typing, as well full-body exertion while wrangling the robot fleet.
Occasional lifting of items with weight up to 70 lbs.
Comfortable riding an ebike on various terrain.

The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that all components, sub-assemblies, and finished solar panels meet established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities
Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, sub-assemblies, and finished solar panels.
Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections to confirm conformance to specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
Operate and support automated inspection steps throughout the manufacturing line and verify product quality to documented standards.
Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, and electronic testing tools) to validate product requirements.
Ensure measurement tools and gages used for inspection are within calibration and comply with inspection validity requirements per procedure.
Identify defects and nonconformities in products and processes; document findings and support root cause and corrective/preventive actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Segregate and label nonconforming materials/products, initiate containment actions, and ensure proper disposition per nonconformance procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Engineer will assist guests with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problem.
Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventative maintenance on equipment.

The Electromechanical Technician 13 performs highly skilled technical work in areas of installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment with a wide knowledge and high degree of proficiency. **Essential Functions**
+ Troubleshoot electrical and electronic as well as hydraulic & pneumatic troubleshooting
+ Service and maintain cranes, lathes, drills, presses, press brakes, shears, robots, tube mills, high frequency induction equipment, distribution equipment, CNC and NC equipment
+ Perform diagnosis, testing, disassembly, inspecting, precise measuring, repair and re-assembly of plant equipment or components with limited instruction
+ Perform pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting and repair plant production equipment as needed
+ Responsible for installation of distribution equipment including gutters, disconnects, conduits and cables following UL and National Electrical Code
+ Responsible for installation and repair of lighting up to 480V, repair of small fixtures, fans, and appliances while also assisting with repair of welders, wire feeds, plasma cutters, and motors over 110V

**Working Environment and Physical Efforts:**
Most of this job is performed in an indoor shop environment. The temperature range can be from 100 degrees in the summer to about 50 degrees in the winter. Most operations may expose employee to some type of disagreeable working conditions (wind, cold, heat, dust, dirt, fumes, noise, vibration, water, or oil). Working conditions may vary with specific work assignments. Some areas of the plant can be a noisy at times with sound levels reaching above 85 decibels. Hearing protection is available for those areas. Safety glasses and metatarsal safety shoes are required at all times in the plant. Gloves are required during certain operations. Face shield is required in addition to safety glasses when grinding. The employee will operate machines that use liquid coolant and may also be exposed to cast iron dust. The employees must be able to spend the entire work shift on their feet within the plant environment. Some outdoor work is required which includes work in conditions with abnormal temperatures. Employee works around material stacked overhead height. Conditions range from clean work to exposure to odors, fumes, drafts, wet conditions, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, noise, high temperatures and low frigid temperatures. These conditions range from severe to mild and can happen daily and in any combination. An Electromechanical Technician works in disagreeable weather conditions nearly 30% of the year.
Employee must stand and walk, as well as handle parts, tools and equipment, gripping and grasping, on a frequent to constant basis. On an occasional to frequent basis, operator is required to lift/carry parts. Most weight moved is less than 30 lb. Although a few items do weigh more, a maximum lift of 50 lb. is all that is required. Standing, bending, pivoting, walking and reaching overhead are required during most of the shift. Climbing ladders, pulling wire through conduit, hanging fixtures and electrical components also requires a physical exertion. Lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, stretching, crawling and working in awkward and/or confined positions is frequent with any electromechanical technician. Some of the physical tasks include hanging gearboxes on top of machines, changing brakes or the motors on cranes.
**Mental and Visual Effort**
The functions of this job require the employee to be alert at all times. Working in a fast-paced environment as well as the repetitious nature of this job requires both mental and visual concentration. The technician must be able to work quickly to repair plant equipment so operations can resume. There are often high stress situations where the technician needs to be able to work under adverse conditions for long periods of time using intense mental and visual concentration. Good hand to eye coordination with a good sense of depth perception is required at all time. Technicians need to be able to distinguish colors and be capable of reading manuals, schematics, labels, and other printed materials. Adequate hearing is required to diagnose problems with machines and equipment. Mental and visual concentration is needed to prevent injury to oneself, fellow workers and/or damage to the product. The use of any equipment or tools requires the employee to be alert at all times. If employee does not have a valid license from either of these states, the determination of acceptable vision will be made by the Safety Department on an individual basis.

Performs advanced drafting work. Work involves planning, organizing, and reviewing work projects; reviewing engineering and drafting data; designing structures and recommending design changes; and tracing, inking, and detailing plans, structures, and maps. II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education, Experience, and Training
1. Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
2. One year full-time, wage-earning experience in drafting and computer-aided design (CAD) drafting using AutoCAD software. Thirty semester hours from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE) to include six semester hours in drafting or a related field may be substituted for the required year of experience.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Most of this job is performed in an indoor shop environment. The temperature range can be from 100 degrees in the summer to about 50 degrees in the winter. Most operations may expose employee to some type of disagreeable working conditions (wind, cold, heat, dust, dirt, fumes, noise, vibration, water, or oil). Working conditions may vary with specific work assignments. Some areas of the plant can be a noisy at times with sound levels reaching above 85 decibels. Hearing protection is available for those areas. Safety glasses and metatarsal safety shoes are required at all times in the plant. Gloves are required during certain operations. Face shield is required in addition to safety glasses when grinding. The employee will operate machines that use liquid coolant and may also be exposed to cast iron dust. The employees must be able to spend the entire work shift on their feet within the plant environment. Some outdoor work is required which includes work in conditions with abnormal temperatures. Employee works around material stacked overhead height. Conditions range from clean work to exposure to odors, fumes, drafts, wet conditions, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, noise, high temperatures and low frigid temperatures. These conditions range from severe to mild and can happen daily and in any combination. An Electromechanical Technician works in disagreeable weather conditions nearly 30% of the year.
Employee must stand and walk, as well as handle parts, tools and equipment, gripping and grasping, on a frequent to constant basis. On an occasional to frequent basis, operator is required to lift/carry parts. Most weight moved is less than 30 lb. Although a few items do weigh more, a maximum lift of 50 lb. is all that is required. Standing, bending, pivoting, walking and reaching overhead are required during most of the shift. Climbing ladders, pulling wire through conduit, hanging fixtures and electrical components also requires a physical exertion. Lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, stretching, crawling and working in awkward and/or confined positions is frequent with any electromechanical technician. Some of the physical tasks include hanging gearboxes on top of machines, changing brakes or the motors on cranes.
Mental and Visual Effort
The functions of this job require the employee to be alert at all times. Working in a fast-paced environment as well as the repetitious nature of this job requires both mental and visual concentration. The technician must be able to work quickly to repair plant equipment so operations can resume. There are often high stress situations where the technician needs to be able to work under adverse conditions for long periods of time using intense mental and visual concentration. Good hand to eye coordination with a good sense of depth perception is required at all time. Technicians need to be able to distinguish colors and be capable of reading manuals, schematics, labels, and other printed materials. Adequate hearing is required to diagnose problems with machines and equipment. Mental and visual concentration is needed to prevent injury to oneself, fellow workers and/or damage to the product. The use of any equipment or tools requires the employee to be alert at all times. If employee does not have a valid license from either of these states, the determination of acceptable vision will be made by the Safety Department on an individual basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Data Engineer Intern is responsible for putting in place the framework for a Modern, Simple, Accurate and Secure Data Environment that connects data across the company and sets data up as an asset to the company. Data Engineers will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. Data engineers implement methods to improve data reliability and quality.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data' technologies
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
Develop ways to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency
