JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and other duties to assure the preservation and upkeep of the building, fixtures, and residential spaces.
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Hourly/Non-Exempt
SHIFT: Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm, May be scheduled for morning, afternoon, or evening shifts during the regular workweek and on weekends.
COMPENSATION: $18-$25 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to resident/management service requests for occupied and vacant rental units.
Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, and air conditioning/heating/electrical systems as needed.
Repair/replace apartment materials and perform maintenance requests.
Identify and perform routine preventative maintenance assignments.
Inspect and repair vacant units and prepare for move-ins.
Work on-call as scheduled 24/7, weekend shifts, and overtime as necessary and pre-approved by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.
Complete grounds work, such as grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping.
Perform other duties as requested to support property operations.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Required
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum two years' general residential maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems.
Certifications/licenses as required by local, state, or other regulations.
Must have reliable transportation, maintain auto insurance, and have a valid driver's license.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work on-call as scheduled and work weekends and after hours as necessary.
Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
Preferred
Bilingual or multilingual skills.

• Knowledge of USGA rules, handicap, course rating system, and the mechanics of the golf swing; All facets of the golf industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of world class hospitality and service
• Working knowledge of computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• At least two years of customer service experience (preferably golf related)
• Enrolled in the PGA Apprentice Program
• Valid Driver's License with driving record that meets Yellowstone Club insurance requirements

* Previous guest service experience is a bonus, but not required
* Skiing or snowboarding experience is helpful, but we'll train the right person
