Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) - Brownfields Cleanup Oversight Number of Positions: 2 Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Preferred (as required by federal grant/municipal client) Clearance: No security clearance required Work Schedule: 5x8 (five 8-hour days), grant-funded task-based hours (approx. 880 total hours across both positions) Impact As a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP), you will provide independent oversight of EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant-funded soil and groundwater remediation projects for municipal clients in the Kansas City, Missouri area. As Senior Environmental Compliance Manager, you'll lead and mentor junior compliance staff while partnering with EnSafe' s senior compliance leaders in the Southeast and across the U.S. to guide client programs and drive project outcomes. Minimum Skills and Requirements: Bachelor of Science in engineering, environmental science, or related field. 15 + years of relevant Environmental Compliance experience. A Professional Engineering license, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or other environmental certifications is preferred. Seasoned technical writer; able to produce regulatory-quality permits, compliance reports, and agency responses from technical data and engineering analyses.
