We currently have an opening in our Manufacturing department for a Coating Technician WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON. Coating Technician - Essential Duties The primary responsibilities of the IMCO Coating Technician are to ensure that all procedures are followed in the pre-coat, coating, and post-coat process to produce properly coated tools according to the processes and quality levels defined. The Coating Technician will perform other duties as assigned and in support of the Production and/or Coating Departments. Additional duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Pre-coat - assist with initial washing of tools, loading of fixtures for surface-prep, and final wash before coat. Coat - positioning tool cart in coat machine. Running the coat machine. Post-coat/treat - inspect / measure tool adhesion and coating thickness. Post-treat tools. Transport tool trays on carts to predetermined areas. Routine, preventative maintenance of coating and/or tool wash machine(s). Experience with tool coating processes a plus! Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions. Adequate mathematic skills - a math test will be given. Adequate communication skills that allow for proper information exchange (receiving and disseminating information). Must follow all safety rules to prevent injury to self and others. This position requires the ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. This position requires regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Other requirements are: Must be able to ambulate safely in a manufacturing environment, while pushing a tool cart. Must have flexibility of hands and fingers in order to handle tools and tool trays safely. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, ability to differentiate colors on gages and blueprints, and depth perception. Ability to lift and carry items of varying weight not to exceed 45 lbs. Ability to push a coating cart loaded with tools to/from the coat machine (less than 50 feet). Wage & Schedules We have a position available on the following shift, with a base rate of $18.50/hour. 1st Shift, Monday thru Friday, 7:00a - 4:00p with two 15-minute paid breaks and a 1-hour unpaid lunch. Works on invasive plant control team as part of intensive habitat restoration program at Cleveland Metroparks. Reports to Invasive Plant Coordinator at West Creek Management Center. Positions will work in reservations across entire Park District. In addition to the general job requirements, the invasive plant management technicians must be able to use hand tools such as loppers, pruning shears, and forestry brushcutters, and carry 40-pound packs for up to 8 hours per day. Candidates will typically have some relevant coursework, little to modest field experience but must have an aptitude and interest in learning the job. Responsibilities: Controlling invasive species via mechanical removal or selective chemical control. Electronic recordkeeping, GPS mapping, and GIS data entry (using QGIS software). Cleaning, maintenance, and repair of hand tools, backpack sprayers, and other equipment. Participation in training sessions regarding invasive plant removal techniques; hand tool safety; pesticide safety; pesticide handling and equipment usage.

The Screen Fabrication Technician is a key production position which directly contributes to the success of the company by participating in the day-to-day screen fabrication process. Checks schedule in ERP system for desired quantity, date and priority to produce a high-quality product. Adheres to the work schedule for department operations in conjunction with production schedule. Responsible for understanding and following all policies, practices, and standard operating procedures of the company. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Reviews available jobs and determines what screen-fabrication needs are required to complete that operation. 2. Encompasses the following operations: * Frame Prep - Selects and prepares the frame by cleaning, applying of adhesive and delivers frame to Stretching. * Stretching - Places frame in stretching system to appropriately stretch and apply mesh with adhesive to frame. * Coating - Coats screen with emulsion using an automatic coater. * Imaging - Places screen in imaging system in order to add image to the screen. * Developing - Rinses screen with water to develop the image. * Block-Out - Applies a filler coating on the print side of the screen. * Physical Inspection - Performs physical quality checks of the screen. * Masking Cut - Uses automated machine to cut various materials to be applied to screen. * Masking Apply - Applies the various materials to the screen. * Visual/Final Inspection - Performs visual checks and final inspections to make sure screen meets all customer requirements. 3. Understands the different variables of screen fabrication and how it impacts the overall quality and successful outcome of the product for the customer. 4. Demonstrates consistent, clear and proactive workmanship that will motivate and partner with team members and produce the highest quality products. 5. Has a full working knowledge of ERP System and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 6. Committed to continuous improvement initiatives and work alignment of business objectives and goals. 7.
