This safety sensitive CDL position (SS) purpose is to drive a commercial rated vehicle along residential
routes to collect refuse and recycling. This position is considered an entry level position for someone in
training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Inspects truck prior to leaving on route to ensure that it is properly cleaned, serviced, and fueled.
This duty is performed daily.
2. Drives a reload refuse truck along a route to collect refuse; transfers refuse to a landfill. This duty is
performed daily.
3. Empties refuse into the truck. This duty is performed daily.
4. Performs such routine maintenance and minor repairs on the truck. This duty is performed daily.
5. Cleans truck inside and out. This duty is performed daily.
6. Basic customer service responsibilities dealing with citizens and City employees in performing
assigned duties. This duty is performed as needed.
7. Drives pickup truck and trailer along residential route for picking up recycling. This duty is performed
daily.
8. Attend safety training and other classes as directed. This duty is performed as needed.
9. May have oversight of sanitation workers assigned to route. This duty is performed as needed.
10. Operating a city vehicle is required for the essential functions.
11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years high

Excavator Operator/Heavy Equipment Operator
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Excavator Operator to join our quarry operations team. The Excavator Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to load rock, move overburden, maintain pit floors and haul roads, and support overall quarry production. This position requires strong attention to safety, equipment knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for feeding plant and loading trucks or stockpiling with large wheel loader, excavator, or dozer.
Perform general housekeeping, fueling, and greasing of equipment, crushing plants, and conveyors.
Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine maintenance on equipment such as conveyor bearding changes and belt splices.
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all site personnel and management.
Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as required by company policies.
Perform maintenance that may involve manual labor such as the use of shovels and fire hoses for clean up during plant down time.
All other duties as assigned.

Experience in the operations of heavy equipment

The Crane Operator controls an overhead crane to safely lift and move steel material to multiple areas of the facility. This includes occasionally moving machine parts and scrap hoppers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform daily crane inspection and documentation
2. Operate overhead crane to transport materials to and from storage areas, workstations, load and unload trucks, and within areas of assignment
3. Locate material based on production information
4. Pull material from storage, ensure accuracy and transfer to machine storage area or to equipment as needed
