This role combines technical estimating skills with customer-facing sales expertise to scope projects, overcome objections, and drive jobs into production. You'll play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the company's profitability goals by managing estimate approvals and client relationships with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Relations:
Perform on-site property evaluations and clearly communicate scopes of work to property owners and managers.
Present the value of RRP's services confidently to convert leads into active jobs.
Build strong relationships with B2B contacts (e.g. Insurance Adjusters, HOA boards, property managers).
Proactively identify obstacles preventing jobs from signing or entering production and developing alternative solutions to move projects forward.

Estimating & Insurance Coordination:

Team Communication & Support:

Provide clear updates to internal project management and sales coordination teams to ensure smooth handoffs and proper file closure.
Attend client, adjuster, and internal team meetings as needed to support project success.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in restoration estimating (residential and/or commercial).
Advanced proficiency with Xactimate; experience with Xcelerate and Matterport preferred.

This position supports the design-bid-build, design-build, and performance contracting teams by developing accurate and timely estimates for all CSI divisions including but not limited to general trades (i.e. woodwork, metals, civil, etc.), mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing scopes of work. **Responsibilities**
+ Provide timely and accurate cost estimates of labor and materials for new construction, retrofit, energy, and facility improvement projects.
+ Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
+ Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, detailers, and vendors to support proposal and project development.
+ Manage expectations through clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and clients.
+ Use estimating software such as On Screen Takeoff or similar tools to perform project takeoffs.
+ Ensure accuracy of estimating spreadsheets, including verification of prevailing wage labor hours, labor rates, internal cost allocations, material pricing, and subcontractor services.
+ Attend job walks, bid reviews, and project meetings as required.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
**Job Requirements**
+ Experience in the construction or GMEP (general trades (i.e. civil, architectural, and structural), mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems industry.
+ Experience estimating medium to large projects.
+ Knowledge of CSI standards and general MEP systems.
+ Experience using estimating software such as On-Screen Take-off, Bluebeam, and other estimating software.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
+ Strong communication skills to effectively define scope, requirements, and expectations.
+ Ability to consolidate all internal and external costs associated with small and large scale projects.
+ Capable of preparing detailed estimate packages and backup documentation for review.
+ Ability to write scope and clarification letters for estimates.
+ Collaborative, team-oriented, and able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
+ Ability to recommend value engineering options based on drawing reviews.
+ Ability to prepare estimates at conceptual phase through construction drawing phase.
**Education / Experience**
+ Knowledge of the construction industry and building systems.
+ 2-5 years of field or estimating experience in the Construction Management, MEP or HVAC industry.
+ Basic knowledge of HVAC and energy codes.
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
+ Familiarity with Bluebeam and Adobe PDF.
+ Basic knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit for drawing/model navigation.

PA State Appraiser License is REQUIRED
