Job Title: Senior Estimator Department: Preconstruction / Estimating A growing commercial Drywall subcontractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to take a lead role in pricing and developing proposals for metal framing, drywall, and interior systems projects. This position is ideal for someone who brings strong technical expertise, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and can deliver accurate and competitive estimates on schedule. The Senior Estimator will also support ongoing client relationships and help advance business development efforts in the Central Florida market. Coordinate with operations teams to ensure estimates reflect current field practices and realistic manpower expectations. Build and sustain relationships with suppliers, trade partners, general contractors, and clients. Provide guidance to junior estimators and contribute to team training and development. Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and client discussions as needed, including travel between Orlando and Tampa. Required Qualifications 5 to 10 years of estimating experience in commercial metal framing, drywall, or interior construction systems. Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, Florida is seeking a full-time Aviation Maintenance Estimator who will be primarily responsible for the preparation of an approved proposal to provide a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for delivery to a customer. This involves the compilation of labor hours, material estimates and service requirements, entering the information into the company system, and obtaining the appropriate approvals. In addition, the Estimators will interface with multiple positions within the company and outside vendors to obtain work scope definition, material lists, and labor estimates. Thorough understanding of scope requirements of various types of transportation projects (new construction, repairs, maintenance, etc.) as well knowledge of maintenance of traffic, right-of-way, utilities. What will you contribute? B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management. Minimum of 10 years of related transportation cost estimating experience. Participation in Alternatives Analysis, Value Engineering, Risk Analysis as needed. Knowledge and experience with FDOT (Florida) and LRE (Long Range Estimating) system preferred.
