Acts as AASHTOWare Project Construction Coordinator for designated projects. Updates contract authority, adds equipment and personnel lists to contracts. Conducts "Kick-Off" meeting with Project Administrator and staff, highlighting and discussing pay items and any unique aspects of the upcoming project.
Audits assigned Final Estimate packages for completeness and accuracy, including multiple complex projects, and ensures conformance with contract documents and specifications and Department procedures. Makes technical geometric and mathematical calculations. Prepares a Post Audit Review (PAR) report on each submittal detailing errors and omissions, if any. Receives and inventories the Final Estimate submittal packages for completeness. Prepare reports as necessary, including to update District Final Estimates Manager of PAR results. Maintain spreadsheet of all passed projects that includes construction time and money measures. Draft report with explanations of any project exceeding these measures for submission to the District Construction Services Manager
Perform all administrative functions necessary throughout project lifecycle from initial submittal of final estimates package to final closeout (including Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) closeout). This is to include the processing of unpaid bills, as-built plans, subsequent payments after Offer of Final Payment, sublet agreements, required correspondence, qualified acceptance letters (with disputed items) and Form 21-a. Ensure all project documentation has been scanned into Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Manage records and prepare for destruction of final estimate files when statutory and procedural timeframes are met.
Performs on-site field reviews on project sites for all active construction projects to assist project personnel in preparing and obtaining procedurally correct records and documentation for final pay records. Prepare for, participate in and present necessary information at the semi-annual Final Estimates and Contract Administration meeting.
Serves as the liaison between Final Estimates office and project field offices. Train and guide personnel involved in Final Estimates (both in-house and consultant) in both Engineering Audit and Administrative process functions of Final Estimates. Schedules field reviews with junior Final Estimates staff for completeness of documentation or quality assurance.

Salary:
$23-$27 per hour / 40 hours per week
Qualifications / Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of field experience in electrical
Valid driver's license
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Employment eligibility confirmed through E-Verify
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); estimating software experience is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a professional, deadline-driven office environment

Titan Electrical Services - Core Values
Summary: This position is responsible for competitively estimating the costs for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial projects per the plans and specifications. Estimating requires a high level of attention to detail and an analytical approach. This creates value for our customers and for our business. Project Estimators will report directly to the Senior Estimator.
Key Result Areas
Be on time and prepared to perform estimating duties
Work in a clean professional and safe office environment
Prepare and keep an updated bid list with detailed project information
Communicate with the Chief Estimator / Senior Estimator with any potential issues you see with competing your scope of work by the requested due date in an emailed format
All communications should be followed with an email
Ensure that the project is being estimated per the plans and specifications
Communicate and Coordinate with the General Contractor
Prepare a detailed proposal with includes and excludes to review with the Chief Estimator
Save all quotes into bidding folder
Review and document subcontractor bids “includes” and “excludes”
Submit final proposal to Chief Estimator for final review
Request lighting, gear, fire alarm, lightning protection, low voltage, system testing and generator quotes in a timely manner
Qualify all requested quotes to complete scope of work
Prepare RFI's in a timely manner, emailing to General Contractor
Evaluate possible Value Engineering options (VE's)
Review project specification book
Prepare a list of previously bid projects to review with Chief Estimator
Follow up on previously bid projects to gather feedback
Always work safe, you are important to the Team.

We are looking for an experienced Project Estimator - Mold/Water Restoration to join our fast growing team! You will be making an impact each day by helping our customers understand the degree to which their property has been affected by mold and water damage and providing them with a plan to get their lives back and return their homes to pre-loss conditions.
You are someone that has a keen interest and meaningful experience in the fields of cleaning, restoration, and construction. You are familiar building materials and residential home construction. You understand the insurance claims process and are able to advise customers on how best to navigate their loss.
You are have experience with home services sales and develop relationships with strangers easily. You are an individual that is, outgoing, neat, presentable, and with outstanding communication skills. You are able to commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
You hold yourself to a high standard and care deeply about the quality of your work and its impact on customers and your team. You are a leader and coach to others and know you are only as successful as those you bring along with you.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Travel to customer homes to perform onsite inspections of property damage
Review reports from home inspectors, industrial hygienists, and/or mold assessors
Complete moisture and humidity readings, thermal imaging scans, photos, non-intrusive visual inspections
Develop onsite field quotes or detailed Xactimate estimates and walk customers through
Advise customers on how we can help them navigate the insurance claim process
Complete the sales process, work to overcome objections and get customers to yes (Target 65%+ average closing ratio on sales)
Articulate various ways for customers to make a payment, including financing options
Coordinate the execution of contractual documents with front office staff
Regularly update CRM with notes from customer appointments
Perform customer follow-ups and sales pipeline management activities
Coordinate with Production Team including Technicians as needed
Other Core Responsibilities:
Support business development activities as need
Ability to communicate project plans with confidence to customers
Participate in recurring management meetings
Serve as a brand ambassador, you are representing the company on and off the clock
Delivering 5-star service to home owners (and obtaining reviews)
Your Qualifications:
Overall interest in serving your communities and being a hero to your neighbors
Excellent communication skills (We are a "communication company" that specializing in restoration!)
Working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have Xactimate experience writing Water, Fire, Mold, and Rebuild
Must be familiar with and able to recognize potential mold growth
Ability to multi-task, in a complex and sometimes quickly changing environment
General experience in the cleaning, restoration, construction industry
Experience with insurance claims process, working with adjusters, etc.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (no suspensions in 3 years or major violation in 5 years)
Knowledge of Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Sarasota, Manatee County (Driving directions, etc.)
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, others) are a plus
Willingness to undergo background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record pull
High school diploma/GED
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Ability to travel locally in SWFL when necessary
