+ Create and evaluate project reports and provide project status to internal and external clients as needed.
+ Prepare, publish and communicate estimate status, including input into the designated tracking systems.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or similar field with minimum of three (5) years of estimating experience in directly related construction role or a minimum of five (7) years equivalent combination of experience in an advisory and/or project management capacity required
+ Knowledge of construction principles and practices
+ Experience with retail and tenant improvement construction projects; ability to read and understand construction specifications (and construction drawings preferred)
+ Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Estimating database software, and Onscreen takeoff tools.

- Review the preparation of all estimates.
- Mentor junior staff
- Develop methods for maintaining current and historical construction cost data. Obtain relevant craft productivity, wage rates and construction in-directs. Maintain a database of estimating information.
- Bachelor's degree Engineering or Construction Management or other, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- At least 20 years of estimating experience
- Proficiency in estimating any phase of a project from Feasibility Study through construction
- Ability to interact with architects, engineers, clients and operations staff to ensure a clear understanding of a project.
- Facilitate presenting costs to the client and reconciling with previous estimates
- Demonstrated understanding of estimating organizational structure and process, including quantity takeoff, crew development, productivity relationships, material quotations, contingency/risk, knowledge of markup structures and estimate documentation.
- Proficient skills with current technology (Word, Excel, estimating software)
Ideally you'll have:
- Master's degree in Construction Management, or Engineering
- Life Sciences related experience.
