Under the general direction of the Central Lab Manager, the Central Lab Maintenance Supervisor will execute proper preventative maintenance and perform needed repairs on all lab equipment, preventing and/or minimizing interruptions to lab production.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Under direction of Central Lab Manager, and in collaboration with other senior managers on staff, conceptualizes preventative maintenance schedule and executes equipment maintenance accurately, efficiently and on time.
Continuously works to improve the integration of field fulfillment system to central production LMS program.
Pilots, tests and evaluates new products for the field ranging from specialty coatings to digitally processed surfaces.
Manages, tracks and allocates capital refurbishment components.
Working with Distribution Center leadership, moves new and used lab assets from central storage to field use.
Organizes the intake of used assets for salvage and disposal.
Manages the capital lab assets of Eyemart within budgets as assigned by Vice President of Lab Operations.
Orders lab consumables and maintains stock of supplies to adequately support the network requirements within assigned budgets
Works with equipment vendors from SOM, Satis Loh, MEI and Buhler as onsite technical support for advanced repair of robotic equipment
On duty supervision for equipment operators to clear errors, repair machines and support production as needed.
?Requirements
5-10 years experience in automated equipment laboratory equipment operation or repair
5+ years experience leading production or laboratory teams.
Industry knowledge of the following equipment; CCU, CCP(s), HSC ONE and smart, PRA, CCL, LCU, CT-100, 44R, 54R, HSE, Easy fit, Swift or comparable automated lab equipment.
Background in electro-mechanical troubleshooting
Overnight and weekend shifts
SOM Modulo Experience preferred
EBC1400 experience preferred
Background in coating process and technology preferred
Skills and Abilities:

Job Description:
The AR Lab Technician will be responsible for cleaning, coating and creating prescription lenses to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner. Once the lenses are complete, the AR Lab technician is responsible for taking the lenses to Final inspect to be inspected and shipped to the retail stores.
