JOB DUTIES: Fabricate plastic piece parts, turntables, cabinets, and fusion assemblies, and perform solvent welding and other tasks as assigned Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine fabrication requirements Select and prepare plastic materials for welding, ensuring they are clean and free from defects Operate hand and power tools, such as grinders and cutters, to shape and trim plastic components as required Inspect components to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments Perform secondary machining operations as required Help to ensure the products we manufacture meet or exceed customer quality expectations Ensure adherence to production schedules to ensure on-time deliveries, working closely with production scheduler Take the initiative to identify and implement improvements to our processes along with the products we deliver Follow all safety procedures, along with 5S standards Participate as an active team member and be willing to cross-train as required (i.e. machining and assembly areas) Train and assist others as required Adhere to and follow all Company policies Other duties as assigned Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent Certificate or diploma in welding or related field or equivalent work experience in welding/fabrication Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision and effectively plan, organize, and execute own activities Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors and colleagues Ability to read and interpret technical prints and drawings without assistance Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets Ability to wear personal protective equipment necessary for duties performed Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to weld in all positions and work with all types of plastic materials Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance Ability to work well with others and take direction and feedback Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve Willingness to work overtime when required Additional Information An offer of employment at Apollo is subject to a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
