What You'll Do
Provide desktop support for end-user issues, including but not limited to setting up new users, installing/troubleshooting software applications, configuring printers, and hardware failures.
Installing and configuring new PC hardware and software.
Utilize a ticketing system to prioritize and work through end-user issues; also, actively use and contribute to a departmental knowledge base to streamline ticket resolution.
Create, maintain, and deploy computer images to streamline OS installation.
Provide administration for computer, email, and user accounts to include account creation, password resets and unlocks
Document standards, best practices, and policies and contribute to IT FAQs and Knowledge Base.
Responsible for maintaining inventory system for all IT-related equipment
Assist with regular patch management, ensuring all client workstations are up-to-date and receiving the necessary patches in a timely manner.
Image and setup new laptops and involvement in the onboarding process
Determines and implements solutions to specific laptop issues
Coordinates and installs workstation hardware and software (firmware, patches, upgrades, and enhancements)
Confers with end-users on workstation hardware and software issues involving installation, training, and problem resolution
Participate in crucial technological department projects and perform problem diagnosis of network and desktop environment
Participates in the analysis and explanation of network problems associated with specific workstation problems
Documents and maintains technical support and physical asset records
Provide after-hours on-call support as scheduled
Develops and submits process improvement ideas and communicates to the appropriate team
Educates end-users on the use of technology

What You'll Need
