About the Role
Crossland is seeking college construction graduates for this entry-level salaried position required prior to becoming a Craft Superintendent, Superintendent, or Project Engineer. The primary goal of a Field Engineer is to gain knowledge on how projects are built and managed by Crossland field personnel. The Field Engineer will spend the majority of their time in the field assisting with the day to day operations and putting work in place. This position is generally held for 1-3 years while being trained. Promotion is determined by commitment, ambition, knowledge and attitude of the individual. Essential Responsibilities:
Plan and monitor jobsite safety.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The engineer will be responsible for creating computer-aided design (CAD) drawings, schematics, technical documentation, and programming. RESPONSIBILITIES
Project management.
Design heavy marine related equipment. This includes all aspects of machine design including structural, hydraulic, and electrical.

During the design of new products, review current and past product designs, determine manufacturing methods and recommend modifications to improve manufacturability through fabrication and assembly.

Primary Role:
The Engineer, Project Delivery is responsible for various project delivery focused engineering tasks for water and wastewater utility system capital projects, such as design, project management, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of services to our customers. Primary Responsibilities:
Perform engineering field inspections including, but not limited to: manhole inspections, smoke testing, flow monitoring, GPS locates, and water dye testing.
Install flow monitoring systems within sewer manholes.
Inspect manholes manually or with telemonitoring equipment
Operate and maintain instruments and equipment.
Accurately document inspections in a timely manner with detailed field notes.
Obtain and maintain all required safety training and certifications which could include, but are not limited to: OSHA 10 Hour, confined space, CPR/First Aid, defensive driving, and spotter's training.
Adhere to all the safety requirements of the position while assisting team members to do the same.

About the Role
Crossland is seeking college construction graduates for this entry-level salaried position required prior to becoming a Project Manager. This position is generally held for 1-3 years while being trained. Promotion is determined by commitment, ambition, knowledge and attitude of the individual. Drug screen, physical and criminal background check is required of successful candidates.
Essential Responsibilities:
Know and understand safety policies
Contract document organization, distribution and controls using company standards and software
Assisting in Planning and scheduling using company standards and software
Submittal organization, distribution and coordination to ensure quality control
Attend and document meetings on and offsite
Review and understand company estimating standards and software as well as coordinate with estimators and PM's
Coordination with Owner, Architect and Engineers as directed by the PM.
Contract and Purchase order management
Change order document management
Understand and assist with internal cost control, cost accounting management and accounting reports
