The PDM Field Engineer I is based at a jobsite and is responsible for facilitating the interface between the jobsite and the home office engineering staff. When not assigned to a jobsite, the PDM Field Project Engineer I will be assigned to a Matrix engineering office to perform design and project engineering tasks in support of current projects. Facilitates Engineering's review of rigging plans. Supports with pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Supports in conducting and documenting facility performance tests when within the project scope. Supports the construction superintendent regarding construction planning requiring engineering interface. Coordinates site visit timing and requirements for engineering discipline EORs observations and sign-off. Works on special projects as assigned and directed by supervisor, the project engineer, or by the construction team. Travels to meetings with customers and vendors as required. Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical or other related discipline required. You will be overseeing the installation of the 2900 routers and Aruba access points. Your role will be to lead a team of two installers, coordinate with the end client, direct logistics, and oversee the entire deployment process. The work will consist of 1-2 nights in each job site, and then moving on to the next one. This will be night work when the job site is closed for business. Strong Cisco experience required.
