This individual will serve as the primary layout expert, ensuring precision in surveying, alignment control, and dimensional verification. The role requires someone who is technically strong, proactive in problem-solving, and able to work independently across multiple fast-paced job sites. The Field Layout Engineer will play a key role in improving layout accuracy, reducing rework, and supporting both field operations and preconstruction teams.
Job Duties
Perform field layout, surveying, and dimensional verification for commercial construction projects.
Use Hilti Total Station equipment and related software (AutoCAD, Trimble, Hilti Profis) to execute accurate layout tasks.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required, a Master's degree a plus
Degree emphasis on hydraulics, hydrology, or water resources engineering required
4+ years of previous consulting experience in the field of water resources engineering required

The salary for this position ranges from $79,081 to $126,529 per year, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications. BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in construction management or related field. Or, an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
2-3 Years construction related work or internship experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Solid project scheduling and follow through skills. Experience utilizing Microsoft Project is a plus.
Must be able to read drawings, interpret codes, and be familiar with all phases of building design.
Experience with Bluebeam, Procore and/or BIM is a plus.
Ability to travel to project work sites.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
