Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.

Maintain a service van and its inventory.

Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience

Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Main Purpose: The Electrical Maintenance Technician specializes in Hydrant Fuels Automation Maintenance (HFAM), is responsible for the electrical and automation systems that control government hydrant fuels operations, and has the ability to troubleshoot and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in a highly safety-conscious environment. doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Position Overview
As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to hospital sites to complete the installation, service, and maintenance of SteelcoBelimed products while providing excellent service to customers.

Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Clean parts and machine.
· Start and observe machine in operation to test performance.
· Troubleshoot and analyze machine malfunctions and problems to determine causes of substandard operation. Perform necessary repairs and make improvements to prevent future problems.
· Initiates orders and maintains inventory of critical parts; Submit parts requests to Service Manager.
· Reassemble machines when complete.
· Maintaining current technical knowledge and continuously working to expand knowledge of recent technology and equipment through manufacturer training.
· Maintain record of work performed using Point of Sale system.
· Notify guest of repair status, explaining work performed.
· Ensure an elevated level of customer satisfaction by meeting customer needs in a courteous manner.

Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician/Mechanic Position Purpose
Responsible for performing quality work on various brands as effectively and profitably as possible. This includes diagnosing issues, ordering parts, writing technical reports, maintaining the care of company assets, and maintaining proper communication with others.
Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician/Mechanic Essential Functions

Performs Shop repairs and maintenance with little or no direct supervision
Diagnoses and evaluates problems with equipment; makes repairs using established guidelines in accordance with established flat rates
Plans methods and sequence of performing assigned repairs
Notifies the Manager of any additional work required on the unit
Models safe work habits and abides by company safety policies and procedures always
Keeps rework within established guidelines
Organizes, cleans, and maintains a safe work area
Contributes to departmental and product line goals
Completes required paperwork efficiently and promptly
Attends factory and other training as specified by the supervisor
Ensures that the shop equipment remains in optimal working order and is consistently maintained in a clean state
Displays professional demeanor with customers, managers, and colleagues

Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician/Mechanic Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Two (2) years' experience in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment
Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics
Furnish and maintain a set of hand tools and any special tools required by the company
Ability to occasionally work overtime, stay overnight, and work on weekends when needed
Maintain a valid driver's license
Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician/Mechanic Physical Requirements:
Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 100 pounds without assistance
Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold and wet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors associated with the shop
Physical ability to perform maintenance on equipment for extended hours, with continual mounting and dismounting throughout the workday
Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in a functional condition

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
· Performs competent break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: observing devises in operation to determine root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; and performing troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuitry and mechanical systems.
· Identifies parts, supplies and repair items as necessary for equipment maintenance and repair.
· With minimal instruction, performs maintenance as per industry standards.
· Works with customer counterparts to execute maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance procedures.
· May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks.
· Conforms and complies with customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping standards, and safety processes
· Documents work performed in service reports, and applicable management systems.
· Performs routine processes with and within industrial control systems to troubleshoots and analyzes complex equipment, perform equipment maintenance, and to resolve equipment problems.
· Utilizes in-depth application of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
· Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development.
· Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:
Essential KSAs:
· High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
· Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in specific industry.
· Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
· Possesses working knowledge and experience regarding electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems in related fields. Can analyze the problems, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs
· Extensive travel required. (Local, National).
Desirable KSAs:
· Experience in preventative maintenance techniques, precision measuring, mechanical alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment.
· Exposure to programmable logic controllers, field devices, and electrical drive and motor systems.
