Job Description Instrumentation & Control Technician (3 5 years' experience required) Responsibilities • Rebuild, repair, install, and remove electrical systems, PLCs, automation equipment, switchgear, motors (including 3-phase), sensors, controllers, transformers, and related components. • Perform electrical testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. • Identify faulty equipment and determine when immediate maintenance is needed. • Operate power tools, hoists, and hand tools safely. • Maintain parts inventory, assess used parts, complete reports, and keep work areas clean. • Participate in daily meetings and coordinate with vendors to reduce downtime. • Follow all safety policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned. The role is envisioned to be a liaison between field operations and the corporate environmental team, providing technical assistance and training to the field teams as well as working with environmental team to improve processes, maximize efficiency, and reduce costs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate between Regulatory, Environmental, and Operations teams regarding activities that impact environmental and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to operational or equipment modifications, permitting requirements, LDAR programs, and scheduling of various inspections.
