Work schedule: Monday- Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
The Machine Operator is responsible for managing batch record documentation, operating and maintaining pouch filling machinery, and ensuring accurate preparation of ingredients. This role requires a meticulous approach to handling equipment, being detail-oriented, following precise procedures, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma required. Associates degree in science, math, or mechanical engineering preferred.
A minimum of 3 years complex machine operation experience required
Must be able to communicate in English

Ability to proactively view machine operation and determine problems/defects in advance of occurance

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Record and complete batch record documents
Set up pouch filling machine, operate PLC/HMI interface and changeover/clean intricate pieces of the assembly
Determine batch characteristics, type and weight of ingredients to be used
Select, pre-weigh ingredients to specification and to reconcile ingredient usage for each batch
Wash and sanitize mixing tanks and other equipment as necessary
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Walking, standing, stooping and bending for long periods of time
Must be able to pick up 50 lbs
Must be able to work both in climate controlled and outdoor environments
Comfortable with exposure to confined areas and chemicals

The
Film Warehouse Attendant
is responsible for stocking and monitoring all film carts and labels for all lines and cells by work order, scanning products to the work order, rewrapping film and materials upon return, stocking daily deliveries, and monitoring film warehouse inventories. This position plays an active role in the Company's Lean initiative.
Essential Competencies:
FOOD SAFETY & QUALITY:
Execute assigned food safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities to support SQF requirements, regulatory requirements, and customers' requirements.
Comply with USDA regulations and E.A. Sween policies.
Successfully complete the mandatory E.A. Sween Quarterly Safety Trainings sessions for the purpose of complying with both OSHA regulations and E.A. Sween policy.
Perform all activities in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and company polices.
Follow all GMP's as well as the policies, procedures, and standard work of E.A. Sween.
STANDARD WORK:
Scan and receive film by lot code and quantity using handheld device.
Have film, labels, and all required items needed for each production line ready for each work order and shift using Lot Code Tracking.
Review the work order to determine supplies needed and prepare for each line and work order.
Provide case labels and ingredient labels to each line, scan to the work order using the RF Scanner, and ensure the paperwork is completed correctly.
Provide film to each line, being certain to capture the lot code on the paperwork.
Print master case labels and verify correct information.
Perform metal detector checks as prompted by Redzone.
LEADERSHIP:
Assist in providing a friendly, positive work environment.

Support Inventory Control Specialist in all bread support tasks.
Have film, labels, and all required items needed for each production line ready for each work order and shift using Lot Code Tracking.
Complete physical inventory counts by lot.

What You'll Do:

What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Production Operation operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of tasks ranging from operating machine tools and automation equipment.
Loading machines (Boxes, pampers, wipes into the machine) and packaging product.
Setting up machines, adjustments, and minor maintenance on machines.
Conduct quality inspections, as well as quality and processing audits.
Perform repackage/rework when necessary.
Retrieve finished product from the machine and pack it into pre-formed cases.
Receive filled unsealed cases of product from the pack off, seal and stack the cases and send them to the warehouse.
Complete necessary production and quality paperwork as required.
Perform pre-operational check of automatic case sealing machine and bagger.
Prepare for next shift by ensuring sufficient supplies are present, area and trash containers are clean, Marsh printer is reset, and rework is complete.
