We are seeking a detail-oriented Machine Cell Operator to join our machining team. This role involves operating CNC machines and secondary equipment, washing, inspecting, and packing parts to meet quality standards. Operators may also train other team members and take on additional responsibilities depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machines and secondary equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect parts using gauges and process control plans
Wash, assemble, and prepare parts for shipment
Deburr parts using handheld or power tools
Document machine processes and prepare production/quality reports
Perform machine-specific TPM requirements and follow 5S initiatives
Report machine, part, or material issues to Lead Tech or Supervisor
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
6-12 months experience operating CNC machines or secondary equipment
Familiarity with quality control gauges preferred
Basic math and measuring skills
Ability to lift 5-50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
Good vision and attention to detail
Certification on cell operation preferred
Forklift experience is a plus
Work Environment:
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, and temperature extremes
Noise levels vary from low to high depending on proximity to machines
Position requires standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand/arm movement
