The University of Michigan Law Clinical Fellows Program seeks applicants for a fellowship in its Civil Rights Litigation Initiative. This is a two-year appointment with the possibility of extension for a third year.
The Clinical Fellows Program is designed to fully support attorneys wishing to explore the possibility of a career in clinical teaching. Michigan Clinical Fellows gain valuable experience and mentoring in clinical pedagogy and in their substantive area of practice. Their duties include clinical teaching and student supervision in conjunction with a clinic director, and participation in the operation and development of the clinic in which they teach. Support is provided for personal and professional development and scholarship. Michigan Clinical Fellows have enjoyed success on the national job market and are teaching in clinics at law schools across the country.
The Civil Rights Litigation Initiative (CRLI) represents clients in federal and state court on a wide variety of important civil rights and civil liberties issues, including racial justice, free speech, immigrant rights, fair housing, police misconduct, women's rights, student rights, disability rights, voting rights, and reproductive freedom. It litigates impact cases, cases that vindicate the rights of individuals, and cases that support movements for social change. It also works in coalition with community groups on civil rights projects such as Justice InDeed, an organization that addresses racially restrictive covenants. Michigan's Clinical Fellows salaries and benefits are competitive. The fellowship begins in the summer of 2026.

Washtenaw Community College (WCC) is seeking a Part time Nursing Instructor to teach Nursing (NUR) credit courses. Needs may become available each semester. Upon successful submission of your application including required documents, you will be considered for future part-time and/or on-call teaching opportunities on a per course basis. Courses may be taught online. The Electrical Technology Lab Instructor has the primary duty and responsibility of teaching students in the Electrical Lab setting, serving as the principal source of instruction and evaluation in these settings. Michigan State University College of Law is a diverse and inclusive learning community with roots dating to 1891 when it opened as Detroit College of Law in Detroit, Michigan. It moved to its current East Lansing location in 1995 and remained a private institution until 2020 when it became a fully integrated college of Michigan State University.

Job Summary:
These individuals will instruct students enrolled in English's laboratory settings such as Foundations for Success program and/or other English lab classes, as assigned each semester. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Significant experience teaching or tutoring experience with GED, developmental (which includes high school), adult and/or ESL students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, or Math (from a regionally accredited college or university).
