Job Description * Serve as the main point of contact for a designated book of clients, managing their insurance needs with minimal oversight. * Support the full client lifecycle - from onboarding and quoting to renewals, endorsements, audits, and claims. * Provide guidance on coverage options, policy structures, and strategic insurance decisions. * Coordinate with agents, underwriters, and carriers to ensure timely, accurate submissions and resolve client issues. * Prepare proposals, renewals, and reports using CRM, mapping, and quoting tools. * Maintain detailed client records and document all servicing activity in AMS360 or other systems. * Assist with prospecting, referral follow-up, and client retention efforts. * Support team projects and contribute to process improvements. * Stay current on licensing, product training, and industry trends. * Mentor junior team members as needed. Qualifications * 3-5 years of experience in insurance account management, in Crop Insurance. (Property & Casualty experience is a bonus.) * Proven ability to manage a book of business and build long-term client relationships. * Strong understanding of carrier underwriting guidelines and coverage forms. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * Proficient in AMS360 or comparable agency management systems. * Active insurance license(s) in applicable lines required. * Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently. * Demonstrated adaptability in a fast-paced environment. GENERAL FUNCTION: To demonstrate the skills necessary to construct and maintain the electric distribution system by providing high quality electric service to all customers. EDUCATION: High school graduate plus advanced trade knowledge equivalent to four years apprenticeship is required. Previous work experience as a lineman. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of increasingly responsible experience in construction and maintenance of electric utility system is preferred. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must possess general knowledge of all operational aspects of electrical distribution and transmission systems and the ability to learn all aspects within a reasonable time span. Must become familiar with all Company Safety Manual, Construction Specifications, Approved List of Materials, National Electric Safety Code, OSHA Rules and Regulations, and the National Electric Code within a reasonable time span. ABILITIES AND SKILLS: Must have an understanding of the construction and operation of an electrical distribution and transmission system and the ability to learn and apply construction standards. Should be skilled in the areas of teamwork, organizing, planning, and following directions to enhance the efforts of the crew. Must have customer service skills and possess good writing, verbal and interpersonal skills. Good math aptitude required. Will be required to complete the Midwest Energy Apprentice Lineman Program. Must demonstrate the aptitude and ability to pass all Company certification requirement tests. Must have climbing experience. Experience in the use of personal computers is preferred (working knowledge of Word and Excel applications). A valid Kansas Drivers License (CDL Class A) is required. WORKING CONDITIONS: Major portion of work day involves general activities of line construction, including construction and maintenance. This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to drug testing. Individual must have the ability to perform work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Subject to call 24 hours per day, including weekends and holidays. Subject to long periods of work. Work involves outside work in all types of weather.
