Must know and understand the process, equipment and all positions on the line and be able to fill in as needed. Must make sure the line is clean and running properly at all times Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies. Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects. o Natural occurring defects i.e. bruises and blood spots. o Processing defects would be but not limited to foreign material and out of spec product. Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official. Abnormal situation would be: Product tampering Willful product adulteration Unauthorized employees in restricted areas Situation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurring Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake Physical Demands: Working at temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit Standing / walking 100% of the workday Lifting up to 50 pounds on a constant basis. Your job involves welding carbon steel pipes according to blueprints, industry standards, and safety regulations. This includes preparing materials, performing welds, inspecting the finished work, and ensuring quality. The role also often involves troubleshooting, repairing piping systems, and maintaining welding equipment. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Welding: Welding carbon steel pipes using various techniques like MIG, TIG, or stick welding. Blueprint Reading: Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Preparation: Preparing materials for welding, including cutting, clamping, and applying chemical solutions. Inspection: Inspecting welds, materials, and equipment to ensure quality and safety. Maintenance: Maintaining welding equipment, tools, and supplies. Repair: Repairing existing piping systems and equipment. Safety: Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines. Monitor compound processing in using departments and assist in resolving process issues. Travel requirements: Up to 4 months overseas training and one month training in Continental U. S.
