JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Mental Health Worker will assist in the delivery of care to patients and their family. The Mental Health Worker fulfills these duties to contribute to the continuity and quality of care that fosters the best interest and well-being of the patient and family.
Various shifts and schedules available part time and per diem; first shift: 7:00am-3:30pm, second shift: 11:00am- 7:30pm; third shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am, and Per Diem that fills in on any open shift. All of these positions require rotating weekends and holidays. Current shift openings will be discussed during interview. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent is required, advanced degree preferred
Two (2) years direct experience in a psychiatric setting or in human services field preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire. Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification within 90 days of hire
Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information.
Basic computer skills (including opening/reading email, basic internet use)
