* Leads the Repair Station in daily operations and continuous improvements, which include but are not limited to: supply chain, production control, manufacturing priorities and coordination between all shifts in the value stream. The Value Stream Team Leader will assist the Site Leader to create continuous product flow, utilize pull systems and to level the workload.
* Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work and processes are followed, needed adjustments are implemented and the area is compliant with safety and 5S requirements.
* Instill and maintain a positive team atmosphere in the Repair Station; hold regular team meetings and assign team member tasks and coordinate support activities form departments outside of the team. Utilize PDCA in conjunction with Tracking Centers and Team Improvement Boards to ensure results.
* Provide effective cross training for Repair Station associates and backups from other value streams to assure the continuous smooth running of the Repair Station. Encourage team to stop and fix problems to get quality right the first time.
* Work with the Site Leader to develop the future state value stream map and manage the plans to achieve it as documented in the Value Steam Tracking Center. In addition, the Team Leader works with the Group Leader and the Repair Station Team to maintain Team Improvement Boards. A visually controlled environment must be developed to assure no problems are hidden.
Qualifications:
* Education and experience at a professional level typically acquired through a B.A. /B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline, and four or more years of directly related experience and demonstrated ability to perform in the described role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results.

Position Summary
This position will work as member of the Research and Process Development department as part of the Materials Testing and Characterization team. As a member of the Test Lab, this role is responsible for testing the material properties/characteristics of Parker Chomeric's various polymeric and elastomeric products, interpret test results, and create summary reports for internal and external distribution.
Responsibilities
* Work is primarily independent, but under the supervision and guidance of other members of the Test Lab. The work includes sample preparation, test set up, testing, and reporting. Test standards include testing the physical, electrical, and thermal properties of filled elastomers and polymers. On-site training is available for all test methods, but familiarity with basic material testing is required; Instron testing, thermal conductivity, specific gravity, etc.
* Prepare Test Plans and Test Reports. All plans and reports shall be prepared in Microsoft Word and Excel. All plans and reports shall be written precisely and accurately for internal and external use.
* Support and execute internal and external testing requests submitted to the Test Lab.
Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED required.
* US Citizen or US Permanent Resident status required.
* Associates degree preferred.
* 1-3 years of experience working with material testing equipment required. On-site training is available for the specific equipment to be used.

Reporting to the Production Manager and Value Stream Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the department's productivity and quality goals are met. Responsibilities
* Read work orders, batch cards, and blueprints to set up, run, monitor, and maintain ovens to heat powders (copper, aluminum, or glass) and mixers to produce high quality materials.
* Verify needed raw materials, tools, and equipment to use solvents for mixing of various chemicals to achieve product specifications with batch cards.
* Perform multiple mixing machine setups and roll milling operations to prepare, process, and inspect finished sheet or brick material made from mixed materials for optimal quality and output. Perform elevated machine maintenance and cleaning.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Air Vehicle System Test Engineer - Engineering Field Service Representative** (FSR) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation (T&E) organization.
This position requires 6+ months of training on a Domestic Assignment to **Pax River, MD and Rancho Bernardo, CA.** After training is completed, it is expected that the candidate will be available to deploy to **Japan, Italy, United Arab Emirates, or Guam** for a minimum of **24 months** , based on current business needs. The international location will be selected by Northrop Grumman after training is completed and will be based on timing and available location(s), determined by business needs. Deployment benefits will be communicated once a location is selected. The FSR will be embedded with a US Navy unit and be the system subject matter expert, providing training on the system hardware and software, as well as supporting the sailors in the unit with system operations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. The Navy's intent is for sailors to be the primary operators and maintainers of the system, with the FSR providing training/assistance as needed to keep the system fully mission capable. The FSR will have reach-back/liaison support from Northrop Grumman Responsible Engineering/Development/Test Engineering teams.
**Sr. Principal System Test Engineer responsibilities include:**
+ Interfacing with NGC and customer Flight Engineers, aircraft maintenance Technicians, US Navy service members, and Subsystem SMEs in order to sustain operations.
+ Primary interface between maintenance, design and flight test engineering.
+ Vehicle and Payload Test Controller (VTC/PTC) operations during aircraft start-up/shut down for launch and recovery, conduct static ground tests, and troubleshooting.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Responsible for providing inputs to update Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMS).
+ Reviews/provides inputs during engineering development and executes Detailed Test Requirements, Acceptance Test Procedures, and Ground Test Plans.

+ Perform a variety of Organizational / Depot-level maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
+ Develop general knowledge of all aircraft systems, VTC/PTC, Engineering Design and software. Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of air vehicle systems at the customer location including operations on a flightline, or in a hangar.
+ Ability to interpret and trace electrical and Air Vehicle schematics. Perform essential electrical and RF troubleshooting using equipment such as but not limited to: Multimeter, Network/Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Time-Domain Reflectometer (TDR), etc.

Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
Competency for sales order process as it relates to customer specifications and change requirements, and ability work closely with operations to ensure timely implementation of production schedules
Proficiency in the use of personal computers and the Microsoft Office Suite
All candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance
Salary Range: $93,599 to $159,118
