1989

The Hi-Tec BW Infinity became a best seller in 1989 due to its groundbreaking hybrid trail and road-running functionality.

1990

By 1990, the BW Infinity achieved a major innovation milestone with the introduction of the AirBall Concept (‘ABC’) midsole.

1990 - System EDM and Hi-Tek merged into Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc.

1992

Hi-Tec introduced the Adventure Racing Series in 1992, designed as hybrid trail running and light hiking shoes to perform in adventure and obstacle races.

1997

1997 - Hi-Tek completes 31,300 SF of manufacturing space, bringing total to 87,550 SF

2005

2005 - Hi-Tek celebrates 25th anniversary on March 1st

2007

In 2007, the brand debuted its V-LITE technology, a design so light yet incredibly high performing.

2009

2009 - Hi-Tek Recertified ISO and AS Certifications

2010

Hi-Tec launched the LiquidMountaineering video, viewed over 15 million times and winner of the 2010 Cannes Lions award.

2012

2012 - Hi-Tek completes addition of 37,450 SF manufacturing space, bring total floor space to 125,000 SF across 3 facilities.

2014

2014 - Complete $1M Office Rennovation and Upgrade

2016

2016 - Development of Laser TBC Ablation and DTC (Drill through coating) Technologies

2020

2020 - Grinding Department Expansions
