Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Ride Mechanic, Water Quality Technician or the equivalent experience.
Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills are critical for success.
A working knowledge of Federal, State and other regulatory agencies rules and regulations are vital to success
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and be capable of bending, squatting and kneeling.
A working knowledge of the operation of hand and power tools, heavy equipment, etc., with the proven ability to train others on the safe usage of equipment is critical to success

SUMMARY OF THIS POSITION:
Under supervision, performs/assists with performing troubleshooting repair, preventive maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system and equipment. Additionally, performs emergency response work, repairs as assigned which may include work outside of primary trade.
Refrigeration:
Under direction, checks, maintains, repairs and installs all air conditioning-related equipment, evaporative cooling systems. Repairs or replaces evaporators, condensing units and compressors; trouble shoots equipment, makes repairs to equipment, recharges units with refrigerant, checks for leaks. Brazes, cuts, bends, solders, threads and assembles pipes and fittings.
HVAC Equipment:
Under direction, performs troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance for ventilation systems and heating systems - forced air, hydronic, steam systems, and related controls. Includes boilers/related equipment, rooftop equipment and water and steam service to fans for evaporative cooling or steam or hydronic heating.
Electrical Repair and Maintenance:
Under direction, performs electrical work as required related to servicing HVAC equipment; typical line voltage of 120V and 208V AC, low voltage controls. Follows proper lock out/tag out procedures.
