What you will do:
Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems
Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers
Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming
Provide controls technical support to HVACtechnicians
Train and mentor less experienced technicians
Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects
Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications
Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner
Interact and train customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets
Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld
Follow all OSHA and Daikin Applied safety policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Technical training and 5+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and reparations of all outside air ventilation systems for commercial applications. Assist senior technicians with the installation and configuration of cable systems, including internet, cable, telephone, alarm services and other related equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of cable systems to identify and resolve any technical issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members to perform testing and quality checks on cable connections to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to industry safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are organized and stocked in the company-provided work truck.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Minimum age requirement: 23 or older.
Successful completion of thorough background checks and drug screenings.
Physical ability to lift to 80 lbs., comfortable utilizing a ladder to work at heights of up to 30 ft., and maneuver in tight spaces/attics.
Basic understanding of cable systems and their components is preferred, but not required.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
