The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors. Pay Range: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour depending on experience Aire Serv / Esser Plumbing and Heating, Inc. is hiring a full-time, experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This is a customer-facing, residential service role where you'll meet the customer in their home, complete the necessary repairs or maintenance, and talk with them about recommended solutions. Our work is throughout Detroit Lakes, Perham and surrounding areas. Job Tasks: Consult with clients regarding their heating and air conditioning systems Diagnose and fix the issue correctly Help customers understand additional opportunities and needs related to their home comfort and advise on system upgrades, improvements, and service plans Provide the highest-quality service, maintenance, and overall customer care to our clients Adhere to franchise policies, procedures, and service standards to maintain brand excellence Minimum Required Skills and Experience: Experience in residential HVAC service Excellent communication skills with customers and office team Professional appearance and personality Team player with a strong work ethic Valid driver's license and clean driving record Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Work is performed in various environments and includes exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on job location and season; must be able to lift heavy materials and tools up to 60 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks such as lifting/holding equipment and materials overhead, bending, climbing, kneeling, reaching and standing, sometimes for extended periods of time while servicing equipment.
