Air National Service team will not be providing a work vehicle. Service Technicians must demonstrate startup, commissioning, and diagnostic troubleshooting experience. Core Responsibilities Include: Service, Troubleshooting & Optimization - Diagnose and resolve issues on a variety of commercial HVAC systems. Perform preventative maintenance and fine-tune system performance for energy efficiency and reliability. Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing service concerns, recommending improvements, and delivering high-quality communication and support. Communication & Documentation - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient scheduling and follow-up. Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and related documentation in a timely manner. Training & Mentorship - Stay up to date through ongoing technical training. Serve as a resource and occasional mentor to junior technicians in the field. Safety & Compliance - Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements as outlined by OSHA, the company, and customer sites. Emergency Response - Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent service needs. Experience & Requirements: 3-5 years of commercial HVAC service experience with systems such as VRF, rooftop units, and packaged equipment. EPA Universal Certification required; OEM-specific training or certifications preferred. Skilled in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and interpreting service manuals and schematics. Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional, team-focused mindset. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; able to pass a background check and drug screening. Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various field conditions, including rooftops and tight spaces. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service coverage. Physical Demands / Work Environment: This role is primarily field-based and physically active. HVAC Service Technicians can expect to spend the majority of their time on their feet, walking, standing, climbing ladders, bending, crouching, or working in tight and confined spaces. Extended periods of physical activity are common while diagnosing and repairing equipment at customer job sites. While a small portion of time (approximately 15%) may be spent in an office setting completing reports or administrative tasks at a computer, most responsibilities require hands-on work with tools and equipment. Technicians must regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds, sometimes in challenging environments. Clear and effective communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors is essential, both in person and electronically. Individuals must also be capable of reviewing their work for accuracy and making necessary adjustments in the field. This position involves frequent exposure to outdoor conditions and varying environments, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction sites. Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking experienced technicians to join our National Projects, Regional Projects, and Service teams. Our crews work locally in various locations or travel to project sites throughout the country. A large volume of our work is located in Southern Arizona. We also have active work opportunities throughout the rest of Arizona, Texas, and elsewhere. Much of our work is federal, so employees sometimes have the opportunity to earn prevailing wages (Davis Bacon Act) based on their location. Responsibilities. Take charge of all assigned work and maintain a sense of ownership of all scope on-site Walk the site in an observed manner, taking note of hazards and, when appropriate, correcting them accordingly Develop an awareness of the entire project to include other trade work Communicate with fellow crew members, assigned foreman, and with public, customers, or adjacent trade crews when necessary Install, maintain, repair, replace, test, and commission HVAC equipment Requirements. EPA Certification to handle refrigerant, preferably EPA Universal
