Key Responsibilities:
Requires a thorough knowledge of general building maintenance with emphasis on electrical solving, including AC & DC circuits, high voltage (480), high amperage and some 400 cycle equipment
Requires experience in industrial wiring and the ability to read and follow wiring schematics and work without supervision
Journeyman electrical license a plus
Requires the ability to make low and high voltage repairs to all building electrical equipment
This includes solving, installation and repair of 110/220/480 volt single and multiphase electrical circuitry and devices
You should also have some experience in related building equipment and trades, such as air handling units, plumbing and steam fitting, fire systems and conveyors
Facilities Technicians must be able to work around the clock shifts, including weekends and holidays, in the outdoors in all weather conditions
Schedules are bid and awarded according to seniority
Facilities Technicians are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT)
Salary increases will be administered according to the current IBT/United contract
New employees are required to join the union within ninety (90) days of employment
There is an initiation fee for joining the union and subsequent monthly union dues which are set by the Local Lodge

How You'll Contribute:
The installation technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. They interpret our drawing packages to create the basis of the finished systems. This installation can include displays, projectors, loudspeakers, microphones, equipment racks, etc. Will also provide advice and guidance to Associate Installation Technicians as necessary.

What You'll Do:
Perform structured cabling installation: pull, terminate, label, and dress cables per project documentation and standards.
Complete physical installation and wiring of AV devices (displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, control interfaces, etc.).
Assemble, populate, and dress equipment racks with a high degree of workmanship and adherence to design documents.
Solder and terminate connectors according to project specifications and accepted industry practices.
Execute light physical construction tasks as required (e.g., blocking, mounting surfaces, hardware installation).
Follow Diversified's installation procedures, quality guidelines, and safety protocols with minimal deviation.
Maintain accurate daily records: timesheets, daily field reports, checklists, and as-built documentation.
Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, and Lead Technicians to ensure project milestones are met.

Complexity:
This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on clients job sites with little supervision. On smaller projects this position may be responsible for the coordination with clients, contractors and subcontractors.
Decision Making Authority:
This position is often alone on the job sites and requires making good judgement about decisions that need to be made. In general the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites.

When not on construction sites, the employee will experience normal office conditions and be required to use office equipment such as computers, peripherals, etc.
Travel:
Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employee must possess a valid driver's license in their state of residence. Employee will be required to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage at the current corporate rate. Local travel to job sites (within a 2 hour driving distance each way) will make up 70-90% usually but remote travel can be up to 30% of the job at times. 10% remote travel is required on a regular basis.

Position Summary
The Senior HVACTechnician will schedule, oversee, and at times perform installation, qualification and maintenance of plumbing, gas, heating, ventilation and refrigerant based units for all BioSpectra facilities.
Major Roles and Responsibilities
•Organize and lead team of HVACtechnicians and plumbers
•Schedules the install of new heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerant based units
•Schedules the install of ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC systems
•Schedules routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly
•Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units
•Schedules the install of replacement parts on exiting HVAC units
•Reviews part lists submitted by direct reports
•Complies with company and industry safety standards
•Interacts with other trades to ensure effective communication for the execution of all projects
•Assists maintenance department with qualified processes and related equipment.
•Provides support in the qualification of new processes and related equipment.
•Assists in performing scheduled equipment preventive maintenance.
•Assists other operation employees as needed.
•Maintains good housekeeping practices.
•Wears appropriate PPE for the duties being performed
•Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by management
Qualifications
•Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program; or at least three years of experience via on-the-job training required
•Must have experience with industrial/commercial HVAC operations
•Ability to understand directions and read blue prints
•Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately
•Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade
•Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods
•Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance and excellent hand-eye coordination
•Work well as part of a team
•Detail Oriented
•Ability to learn cGMP and safety programs.
