We serve approximately 715 students across three schools and approximately 250 students in 9 th -12 th grades and 150 students in 6 th -8 th grades, and approximately 325 students in K-5 th grades, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our faculty as a PreK for All Associate Teacher. JOB SUMMARY The PreK for All Associate Teacher plays a key role in supporting the lead teacher in planning, assessment, and instruction of four-year-old children. This position assists in implementing all aspects of the PreK for All (formerly known as GSRP) program according to the PreK for All Implementation Manual, Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS), and State of Michigan LARA guidelines. The Associate Teacher is a vital part of the classroom team, ensuring a high-quality early learning experience for every child. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Bentley Community School District is seeking a high-energy, passionate PreK for All Associate Teacher. The focus for the Associate Teacher will be to work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher to create and honor high quality learning experiences for all children. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Support daily classroom routines, including taking children outside in all seasons Support the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities Step into a leadership role in the classroom when needed Foster positive, respectful interactions with children, families, and colleagues Help create and maintain an engaging, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Collaborate closely with the Lead Teacher and Early Childhood Specialist to maintain a high CLASS rating and quality programming Assist in planning, problem-solving, and classroom decision-making as a collaborative team member Maintain active supervision of children and ensure a safe, nurturing environment Document child progress through anecdotal notes and use of Smart Teach Assist with screenings and providing appropriate instructional support based on child assessments Complete tasks assigned by the Lead Teacher and Director, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (Preschool) or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. High energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children Ability to work effectively with both children and adults Strong oral and written communication skills, and basic computer proficiency Initiative and adaptability in working with children of varying abilities Flexibility and a willingness to continually learn and grow professionally Required documentation on file prior to start date, including: ? This position follows the Bentley Community Schools calendar.
