Serco is seeking a Program Manager Representative (PMR) to coordinate and implement the pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA ship modernization. This includes identification and integration of alteration work packages, repair work, work specifications, design requirements, alteration material requirements and identification of all required Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). The PMR coordinates work efforts with Regional Maintenance Centers, government installation team sponsors, Ships Force, ISEA tech codes, shipyard contractors and Planning Yard On-Site reps to ensure technical accuracy of all ship alteration data. You will be a part of a large maintenance team that works closely with our customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems on time and on budget. Matt Weber is the senior manager for the team; he possesses many years of experience supporting shipyard modernization and is a Navy veteran. This team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program. The PMR is responsible for execution of the Modernization work package and adherence to the Entitled Process production milestones. You will work with the responsible shipyard to understand and identify all jobs that have been accomplished and planned dates for production completion. You then report to NAVSEA 21 the status of work and financial expenditures. In this role, you will: + Monitor and report (a) MSR and AIT adherence to production and test milestone schedules, (b) financial monitoring and reporting of CNO availability, (c) MSR and/or AIT issues and deconflict with responsible shipyard and sponsoring government agency and, (d) overall condition of ship during the CNO Availability. + Collect, develop, and analyze complex specialized information on modernization production. Serve as a technical advisor to coordinate (via conferences, meetings, correspondence, etc.), the work of many organizations engaged in various equipment-related functions such as supply support, maintenance, and repair. Provide technical data necessary to establish deadlines and phase programs in and out, and to resolve wide-ranging sensitive or potentially difficult issues. + Assist in the coordination of visits to ships and Navy organizations, contractor plants, etc., to evaluate NAVSEA or TYCOM SHIPALTs, Program or Fleet SCDs, and equipment-level alteration installations. + Review and approve NAVSEA related Condition Found Reports (CFRs) for cost, production, and testing schedule impacts. Interface with Planning Yard On-Site Representatives to review/approve design changes or growth work. Negotiate costs with responsible NSA and assigned MSR. Identify changes, track, and report all growth and new work sequences to NAVSEA 21 and responsible shipyard. + Coordinate all testing efforts with responsible shipyard and applicable Navy sponsoring commands. Schedule is determined by the Entitled Process Milestones and milestone dates set forth by the shipyard and ship. Ensure required delays or testing milestone changes are quickly and effectively communicated to all stakeholders. + Participate in Lessons Learned conferences and other post-installation meetings. Post-install meetings include reviewing red-lined design drawings and capturing any design changes made via the LAR/RLAR process during installations. + Demonstrate superior writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual, and analytical reports for clients. + Maintain and comply with security procedures in the performance of duties. + Provide direction, training, and assistance to other PMR support as an expert in a particular field of endeavor as applicable. + Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the lead Program Manager Representative. Job Description * Responsible for student personnel, including the discipline system, behavior adjustment, and management of significant incidents, in accordance with government and management directives. * Provides overall supervision of student personnel through effective planning, staffing, and student involvement in establishing Center policies and procedures. * Assists in the development and implementation of new or revised policies and procedures affecting student discipline, and coordinates with other departments to achieve the overall objectives of the Center. * Periodically reviews and audits all assigned areas to verify contractual compliance and effectiveness in providing services to students. * Encourages students for their performance and good behavior. * Coordinates activities to motivate and encourage students as part of the student discipline and good behavior system. * Prepares the corresponding reports. * Determines and administers disciplinary measures for students who have violated rules and regulations; advises students when their behavior is inappropriate inside or outside the Center. * Ensures that staff are properly trained in the use of the Behavior Management System. * Provides effective communication to inform staff about actions taken with students. * Requests authorization to convene the Fact-Finding Board (FFB) in accordance with the Policy and Requirements Manual and Center policies. * Conducts timely investigations into student misconduct and documents all relevant information. * Imposes appropriate sanctions in accordance with the approved Student Handbook and Department of Labor policies. * Establish a process to determine whether sanctions have been completed. * Establish a communication network to inform students, staff, and management about the results of daily activities. * Submit all reports accurately and within the established deadlines. * Files important incidents within the established time frame and follows up and reports on them. * Communicates regularly with parents, guardians, and courts to assist with behavioral issues or to notify and explain a student's expulsion from the Center due to zero tolerance policy, disruptive behavior, or safety reasons. * Maintains a record of communications with parents, guardians, and courts regarding student behavior. * Meets with new students to provide training on the behavior management system and zero-tolerance policies. * Provides regular training to participants in investigation committees. * Trains staff and students to participate in investigation committees. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * A four-year college degree is preferred, but an associate's degree and one year of work experience in juvenile justice or social services will be accepted. * Five years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree if all other job requirements are met. * A valid state driver's license and experience in data collection and research are required, as well as a good driving record. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Strong verbal and written skills. * The position requires the ability to communicate with internal and external contacts in a professional manner. * Possess CPR/first aid certification. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Be organized and able to multitask. * Possess certification under Puerto Rico Law 300. * Be knowledgeable and fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written. * Possess technical skills such as knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and programs. Positions in this function investigates Optum Waste and Error stopped claims by gathering information, researching state and federal guidelines, and following internal procedure to determine the viability of the claim for further review in a production environment. Primary Responsibilities: * Clinical Case Reviews -75% * Perform clinical review of professional (or facility) claims vs. medical records to determine if the claim is supported or unsupported * Maintain standards for productivity and accuracy. Standards are defined by the department * Provide clear and concise clinical logic to the providers when necessary * Examine, assess, and document business operations and procedures to ensure data integrity, data security and process optimization * Investigate, recover, and resolve all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers, and government entities * Investigate and pursue recoveries * Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies, and contract compliance * Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise * Other internal customer correspondence and team needs - 15% * Attend and provide feedback during monthly meetings with assigned internal customer department * Provide continuous feedback on how to improve the department relationships with internal team members and departments * Continuing education - 10% * Keep up required Coding Certificate and/or Nursing Licensure * Complete compliance hours as required by the department ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * Registered Nurse (RN), Coding Certificate or Nursing Licensure, for example: * Puerto Rico Registered Nurse * Certified Professional Coder (CPC) + CPC A * Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) * Certified Outpatient Auditor (COC) * Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) * Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) * Experience in a hospital/inpatient setting, surgical or clinic * Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Suite of products * Willing or able to work from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week during our business operating hours of 8am - 7pm ATL * Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (Please note that an English proficiency assessment will be required for this position) Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working with medical claims platforms * Medical record coding experience with experience in Evaluation and Management Services in the outpatient/office setting * Presentation or policy documentation experience * Knowledge of CMS and AMA coding rules specific to CPT, HCPCS * Knowledge of CMS Coverage, Federal and State Statues, Rules and Regulations * Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Reimbursement methodologies * Working knowledge of the healthcare insurance/managed care industry * Working knowledge of medical terminology and claim coding At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
