Job Description
Assists with the planning, organizing, and managing of the bank's deposit gathering efforts in a manner consistent with its strategic plan, vision, mission and core values. This will include calling on current and prospective customers, onboarding new products, and managing through the life cycle of deposit services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deposit officer will work with the CBIO to develop, manage and oversee the following aspects of the Bank's deposit gathering services with complete accountability, transparency and continuity:
• Live the culture, be a champion of possibility and pave the way for deposit products to become a reason clients bank with us
• Development and implementation of expanded corporate treasury management services in conjunction with the bank's deposit operations team
• Partner with the bank's commercial calling officers to solicit and service commercial depositors
• Serve as a primary point of contact for current and prospective commercial depositors
• Educate the bank's employees on the depository and treasury management services that the bank offers
• Identify opportunities to attract new deposit customers through community outreach, referrals, and marketing initiatives
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing deposit growth and achieving deposit targets
• Prepare ongoing maintenance of our existing product suite to maximize the use of each service offered
• Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about the latest products, services, and industry trends
• Work with the bank's retail management to keep consumer depository services competitive and up-to-date with technology
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent in business, technology or related field, 5+ years related experience specifically in the bank deposit or treasury management rolls
• Preferred experience in deposit-products, remittances, ACH and other forms of electronic payments
• Industry certification (Certified Treasury Professional, etc) preferred but not required
• Proven experience dealing with rules, guidance and regulations of banking related regulatory agencies
• Knowledge of commercial treasury management products, payment platforms, technology and data file exchanges associated with prepaid cards, debit cards, remittance products and ACH
• Knowledge of Jack Henry Core Director and the integration of their treasury management products to the same
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

Position Summary:
Supervises and maintains discipline and control of resident's at all times. Performs searches of resident's person and physical areas in order to prevent and control secretion or contraband. Observes and monitors resident's activities and interactions while enforcing policy, rules and regulations. Follows established security procedure in controlling visitors, staff, resident and vehicular traffic to prevent the admittance or exit of unauthorized persons and the introductions of contraband. Takes and reports periodic counts of residents. Responds to emergency situations on accordance with appropriate contingency plans. Subject to regular rotation of post and/or shift assignment within the facility. Corrections Officers are required to weapons qualify under KDOC guidelines during initial training and on an annual basis.
Corrections Officer I (A)s are evaluated on their ability to observe and recall inmate behavior, surroundings and events; write clear and complete sentences; respond to emergencies quickly, climb stairs and use physical force to subdue violent and resisting residents; remain alert over long periods of time; remain calm during stressful situations; and interact with residents and co-workers to establish and maintain effective working relationships. The incumbent must be capable of preforming Essential Physical Functions. An initial 12-month probationary period is required for new Corrections Officers.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
* Supervise, maintain discipline and control of residents at all times.
* Shake down physical areas of the facility and perform pat downs of residents to prevent and control the secreting of contraband.
* Applies mechanical restraints when necessary.
* Observes resident activity and interactions in the area of responsibility while enforcing policies, rules and regulations.
* Conduct and report periodic counts of residents.
* Reports incidents and behavior that deviate from the resident's general profile or that could cause an immediate problem.

Knowledge of procedures and practices of supervising inmates confined to an adult maximum correctional institution. Ability to use physical force as warranted to subdue violent inmates.

* Protection of the installation complex personnel, buildings, equipment, and grounds by performing 100% validation check of all personnel entering the complex. RPO's visually check identification cards before issuing authorized permits for entry on the complex grounds. Vendors, contractors and delivery trucks are compared to work orders and bill of lading before entry is allowed. At higher levels of alert, they must perform physical inspection of vehicles prior to allowing entry onto complex grounds. RPO must maintain a high degree of alertness to protect the complex from espionage, sabotage, fire, theft, pilferage and other acts considered a threat to the security of the Federal and State resources. Since RPO interacts with the public, military personnel and visiting governmental officials, well-developed communication skills are required. The RPO must be able to interpret written guidelines and instructions for resolving common problems, utilize correct radio procedures, and can speak distinctly. RPO must have the ability to work assigned shift or unusual work schedule.
* Licensed to perform mobile patrol duties of the complex grounds. RPO will investigate on-complex vehicle accidents and thefts. In situations requiring, RPO has the ability to perform immediate corrective response action, independently determining the appropriate action. When necessary, administers first aid as a first responder. Must maintain qualification in work performance through on-the-job training, periodic reviews and annual evaluations. RPO will be required to pass written and oral certification test for various post assignments. RPO must also qualify annually on assigned weapons.
* Duties include answering telephones, receiving and transmitting radio communications, dispatching patrols and personnel to security situations. RPO must also understand all checklists, surveillance and ESS equipment, be able to quickly assess critical situations, and assign a level of priority for appropriate security response action.
* Perform physical inspection of all complex doors, to prevent unauthorized access, which will require physical foot patrol in certain areas.
* Write legible, accurate reports on daily activities, incident reports, and access control logs. Maintain a safe, clean work environment in vehicle and at post. This includes periodic sweeping, mopping, collection and disposal of trash, dusting, and cleaning of windows. Performs other responsibilities to the job class that meet the organization needs, as directed by the Adjutant General
Qualifications Education or Training:
* Graduate of either U.S. Army Military Police 95B School or U.S.A.F. Security Forces Academy or Graduate of Kansas Law Enforcement Academy or equivalent from other States, preferred
Licensing & Certification:
* Required to have and maintain a valid State of Kansas driver's license with no restrictions as a condition of employment. May be required to attend Kansas Law Enforcement Training Academy or Equivalent
Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* Required to carry a weapon in the performance of duties. Must qualify and maintain proficiency with duty weapons designated to use by Army directives for security personnel in the performance of their duties.
* Required to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance as the conditions of employment.
* State any additional qualifications for this position that are necessary either as a physical requirement of an incumbent on the job, a necessary special requirement, a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) or other requirement that does not contradict the education and experience statement on the class specification. A special requirement must be listed here to obtain selective certification.
* Good physical condition with the ability to work long hours under difficult and arduous conditions when emergencies are declared by an authorized agent.

* Must be able to pass a KBI background check and pass a drug screen. Never have been convicted of a felony by a civilian or military court except for minor traffic violations and similar infractions. People convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position. Required to be (21) twenty-one years of age. Able to conduct searches of persons and property within KSARNG jurisdiction in accordance with instructions and Army regulations. Must be able to talk distinctly over a phone or radio. Ability to work assigned shift or unusual work schedule. Must maintain a neat appearance, in accordance with SOP.
