Job DescriptionDescription: Rehabilitate National Capitol Region Fountains / Water Features The fountains managed by the National Park Service in the Washington, D.C. area, which include historic features and ornamental fountains-serve both as civic amenities and symbolic elements of the city's public landscape. Many of these fountains are currently non-operational or deteriorating due to aging infrastructure, deferred maintenance, deteriorated masonry and waterproofing failures. The construction requirement is to provide all coordination, design and construction services needed to have the fountains/water features fully revitalized and functioning by May 1st, 2026 (or July 1st, 2026). The construction contractor shall perform all services in support of these goals including design, construction, 3rd party inspection and testing, and post construction documentation. Period of Performance: Approximately 240 calendar days of construction management services. Exact dates of performance have yet to be determined and are dependent upon start of construction activities. The construction contract performance period is 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
