Our Holladay office serves clients across the Wasatch Front and southern Utah, including major water districts and municipalities. What You'll Do * Serve as technical lead and project manager for water and wastewater conveyance improvements, including large-diameter pipeline design, route studies, alignment alternatives, and hydraulic modeling * Direct trenchless pipe design, condition assessment, and pipeline rehabilitation strategies across multiple projects * Oversee development of engineering drawings and specifications for steel pipe, valve vaults, surge controls, and pressure regulation systems * Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (surveying, civil, geotechnical, process mechanical, and treatment specialists) to deliver integrated solutions * Engage directly with clients to define project scope, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure delivery excellence * Provide oversight during construction, permitting, and stakeholder coordination * Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and career development within Jacobs * Contribute to Jacobs' knowledge base and advance best practices in conveyance engineering Here's what you'll need * Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (other closely related engineering disciplines considered); MS preferred * 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater conveyance design and project delivery * Professional Engineer (PE) license required * Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships * Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD, HAMMER) * Familiarity with GIS tools (ESRI ArcGIS), Bentley MicroStation, Revit, and Navisworks * Curiosity to leverage Artificial Intelligence applications for design optimization, predictive modeling, or quality assurance * Strong technical writing, communication, and leadership skills Why Jacobs Joining Jacobs means becoming part of a company with numerous technical resources, global project experience, and a culture of career development.
