Removes and reviews prescriptions (RX) from case box. Checks model against prescriptions including bite, margin lines, impression, color, and shade. May use hammer to remove model from metal articulator. Places plate with model into dental scanning equipment to start the scanning process. Reviews model on computer monitor to prepare for design. Once scan is complete, affixes sticker to paperwork to designate completion. Places completed cases on designated area to move to the next process. Articulates and trims digital models. Performs quality control checks on scans using CAD/CAM program.
