Principal, Sales and Use Tax Consulting - Southeastern U.S.

Overview:


Ryan is seeking a Principal level professional to lead our Sales and Use Tax Consulting Practice in the southeastern U.S. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Sales and Use Taxation and proven business development experience.
Responsibilities:

* Develop, implement, and execute tax services within the Practice area

* Supervise consulting work delegated to staff and managers

* Serve as subject matter expert for Practice area throughout the Firm and assigned jurisdictions/geographical areas

* Assist in the general operation and administration of the Practice

* Develop new client relationships and work with the global management team to expand the Practice to other markets

* Routinely make presentations to prospects and clients

* Develop and execute tax consulting projects

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance

* A minimum of ten to twelve years of experience in Practice specialization

* Previous track record of excellent service delivery and working in a team environment

* Valid driver's license required

* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
