Hardware Engineer - Research and Development

Overview:
At ABB, we help industries outrun - leaner and cleaner. As a global market leader, we're looking for a talented Hardware Engineer to join our Research and Development team in Bartlesville, OK. In this role, you'll contribute significantly to technology and product development projects by identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:

* Define and develop hardware architecture

* Provide technical expertise for electro-mechanical interfacing, schematics, and PCB development

* Perform or review routine and complex electrical engineering tasks using current technology, standards, software, templates, and procedures

* Design and develop microprocessor circuit design, PCB design, and electrical systems schematic

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree/master's degree in Electronics; Electrical Engineering or related fields

* 5+ years of experience in Schematics and PCB Design, Digital and/or Analog circuit designs

* 5+ years of experience in Power electronics simulation and testing (Simulink, Ltspice, Pspice, NI, and Power Sim)

* Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in embedded systems

* Expertise in Electronics Testing, PCB layout techniques for minimal inductance/capacitance and EMC optimization

* Ability to utilize lab test equipment (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers)

* Experience in design verification and documentation of electromechanical products

* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and in a team
